Oh death! Why?
I keep wishing this can be undone. @maryjacy your theme for this week came at the right time.

Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to the hive open mic community, week 162.

This week's theme is: Be Okay. It was chosen by the community's recent spotlight artist.

At the time I recorded my video, I had not received the news of the death of my cousin who has been suffering from kidney failure.

This video was recorded yesterday evening and my cousin died at 4 AM this morning.

My sister @treasuree has written some posts here before on the hive blockchain to raise funds for her medical treatment.

A lot of hivers donated to this cause, we have prayed, and we have stayed strong in faith but she still died.

I remember compiling a video that was used for the donation post. In the video, she said 'Thank you, everyone, for your support, at least I am getting better'.

Yes, in that video she said she was feeling better. However, things got worse later.

Her body became so swollen that the doctors had to do dialysis on her.

She and her mom have been moving from one hospital to another hospital until they got to the one where she died.😪

After the first dialysis she did, she complained and said she doesn't want to undergo that process again. It's probably because it was painful.

Dialysis was supposed to reduce the swell and make her feel better right? I don't know why I feel like it only brought her closer to death.

I have no memories of being with her as an adult but have lots of childhood memories.

They say money answers all things, it's also true that money cannot buy life. If it does, the much that has been spent on the illness would have restored her.

Her siblings haven't heard the news yet. I wonder how they will feel if I am feeling this way.

She suffered a lot, her mom suffered too, trying to take care of her, the stress and all.

Her dad never went to see in her the hospital throughout the period she had been in the hospital.

This has made a lot of people suspicious of him. According to how things have been, her parent has not been on good terms.

To make matters worse a few days before she died, the doctors there went on strike.

Well, God knows best. May her soul rest in peace.
