MUSIC: Three Tune Tuesday 85 - 3 Songs about "Lust"! (2 Covers + 1 Original!)

Hello everybody on HIVE, and especially the Music Community. My name is Jasper and I'm writing (and singing) to you from the Cape Town in South Africa.

This is my 20th week contributing to "Three Tune Tuesday", and initiative started by @ablaze. It is week 85 overall!

I am trying to stick to a set pattern, where I perform 2 cover songs (written by famous artists) and 1 original song (written by me) around a theme. This week, I thought I would pick the theme of "Lust"! Oooh risky! Hahaha! Nah, not really...

The first cover song I'm going to try is actually a bit of a rap song (sorry!) called "Cookie Jar" by The Gym Class Heroes. Can you believe this catchy, naughty song was released in 2008 and so is already about 15 years old?

Let's go back all the way to 1954 for our second cover. "Hoochie Coochie Man" was written by Willie Dixon but first performed by Muddy Water, and its riff has made it an absolute blues standard. There are a lot of references to sex appeal and even magic charms to increase sex appeal in the song, so it's a very interesting one to look up the meaning of all the lyrics!

Finally it's time for my own original song! An original song for 20 weeks in a row is quite something, but I must admit I am starting to run out and will need to play with my creative process (tune the guitar differently? Not play guitar at all?) to try and create some new songs! BUT there are still a couple left and today's one is a bluesy one called "Lady Trouble"!
