Hola amigos de Espavlog, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia visitando el Complejo Turístico La Trampa, un lugar ubicado en el municipio Uribante, del Estado Táchira, Venezuela, en donde se encuentra la icónica represa Uribante-Caparo, un obra de ingeniería cuya panificación requirió el desalojo del pueblo de Potosí, pues este quedaría sumergido, para siempre en las aguas de esta represa. Es un lugar icónico, puesto que al navegar en sus aguas se puede ver la iglesia de potosí, en menor o mayor medida dependiendo del nivel del agua, esto se ha convertido en uno de los principales atractivos de este lugar.

Hello friends of Espavlog, today I want to share with you my experience visiting the Tourist Complex La Trampa, a place located in the municipality Uribante, Táchira State, Venezuela, where the iconic Uribante-Caparo dam is located, a work of engineering whose construction required the eviction of the people of Potosí, as this would be submerged forever in the waters of this dam. It is an iconic place, since when navigating in its waters you can see the church of Potosi, to a lesser or greater extent depending on the water level, this has become one of the main attractions of this place.

Junto a mi novia @alexeyha86 y su hija Lia, visité este lugar aprovechando un paquete turístico de 3 días y 2 noches con desayunos, almuerzos y cenas incluidas, el uso libre de las instalaciones como piscina, cancha de bolas criollas, mesa de billar, karaoke, paseo en bicicleta, por un precio de 50$ por persona.

Together with my girlfriend @alexeyha86 and her daughter Lia, I visited this place taking advantage of a tour package of 3 days and 2 nights with breakfasts, lunches and dinners included, free use of the facilities such as swimming pool, criollo ball court, pool table, karaoke, bike ride, for a price of $50 per person.

Realizamos un paseo en lancha por la represa, en donde visitamos la iglesia de Potosí que en esta oportunidad se encontraba descubierta, y nos llevaron a distintas cascadas en las que tuvimos la oportunidad de echarnos un chapuzón. Este recorrido fue posible gracias a una familia visitante del pueblo de La Fría, que permitió que se completaran mínimo 7 puestos para poder embarcar, ya que al ser nosotros 3 personas, no era suficiente para completar los puestos y justificar la salida de la lancha.

We took a boat ride on the dam, where we visited the church of Potosi, which this time was uncovered, and we were taken to different waterfalls where we had the opportunity to take a dip. This tour was possible thanks to a visiting family from the town of La Fría, which allowed us to complete a minimum of 7 seats to be able to embark, since we were 3 people, it was not enough to complete the seats and justify the departure of the boat.

La atención del personal fue excelente, recibimos especial atención, al ser casi los únicos hospedados durante esos días, la comida era deliciosa, muy regional, exquisitos platos que estamos acostumbrados a comer en Los Andes. La habitación era muy agradable y pulcra. Definitivamente fue una gran experiencia, que vale la pena repetir.

The attention of the staff was excellent, we received special attention, being almost the only ones staying during those days, the food was delicious, very regional, exquisite dishes that we are used to eating in Los Andes. The room was very nice and neat. It was definitely a great experience, worth repeating.
