Hola amigos de Hive, esta es mi participación en la iniciativa Échame el cuento de la comunidad Mundo Hispano, en esta oportunidad la temática es sobre algún juguete que hayamos querido tener en nuestra infancia, y nunca pudimos tenerlo. Los invito a ver mi video en donde les echo el cuento, sin embargo como sé que muchas personas no pueden ver videos por su internet les explicaré cual fue ese juguete deseado que no pude tener.

Hello friends of Hive, this is my participation in the initiative Échame el cuento of the Mundo Hispano community, this time the theme is about a toy that we wanted to have in our childhood, and we could never have it. En las navidades de los 90’s en mi país , las empresas fabricantes de juguetes bombardeaban a los niños con comerciales por la televisión, y obviamente muchos nos hacíamos ilusiones, pero lo cierto es que esos juguetes que promocionaban eran sumamente costosos, de marcas como Kreisel y Mattel. Entre esos comerciales estaba el Nikko, un carro a control remoto que era todo terreno y se podía controlar de manera libre en cualquier dirección, a diferencia de los carros a control remoto económicos que se conseguían en el mercado que no tenían dirección, solo adelante y atrás.

In the Christmas of the 90's in my country, toy manufacturers bombarded children with commercials on television, and obviously many of us had illusions, but the truth is that those toys they promoted were extremely expensive, from brands such as Kreisel and Mattel. Among those commercials was the Nikko, a remote control car that was all terrain and could be controlled freely in any direction, unlike the cheap remote control cars that were available on the market that had no steering, only forward and backward.

Tuve muchos carros de esos, y en este video les comparto las imágenes de uno que aún conservo, el cual me compraron cuando tenía unos 11 años más o menos, es decir hace 24 años.

I had many of those cars, and in this video I share with you the images of one that I still have, which was bought for me when I was about 11 years old, 24 years ago.

En varias oportunidades pedí el Nikko al niño Jesús, no sé si esto lo hacen en otros países, pero es como el Santa Claus venezolano, jaja yo colocaba mi carta en el árbol apenas empezaba diciembre, y el 25 en la madrugada destapaba los regalos debajo del árbol.

I don't know if they do this in other countries, but it's like the Venezuelan Santa Claus, haha I placed my letter on the tree as soon as December started, and on the 25th at dawn I uncovered the gifts under the tree.

De modo que el Nikko, cada vez que lo oigo me recuerda un anhelo de niño incumplido jeje sin embargo, como les comentaba en el video, nunca me faltaron juguetes, tengo buenos recuerdos de mi infancia y al final uno se da cuenta que no necesita de costos juguetes para ser feliz.

So the Nikko, every time I hear it reminds me of an unfulfilled childhood wish hehe however, as I mentioned in the video, I never lacked toys, I have good memories of my childhood and in the end one realizes that you don't need expensive toys to be happy.
