Hola amigos de Hive, en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes, una sesión de clases de conducción para mi novia. Para ello nos dirigimos a la Plaza de Toros de San Cristóbal un estacionamiento bastante amplio en donde usualmente las personas van a recibir clases manejo, y de hecho allí fue donde yo aprendí hace unos 15 años.

Hello friends of Hive, in this opportunity I want to share with you, a driving lesson session for my girlfriend. For this we went to the Plaza de Toros de San Cristobal, a fairly large parking lot where people usually go to receive driving lessons, and in fact that's where I learned about 15 years ago.

Aprovechando que de oportunidad casi llenamos el tanque del vehículo, pues es bien sabido, que el tema del combustible es una limitación para todos los venezolanos, decidí brindarle esta experiencia a mi novia, para que aprenda a conducir y cuando en algún momento pueda adquirir un vehículo ya se desenvuelva bien.

Taking advantage of the opportunity to almost fill up the tank of the vehicle, as it is well known that the fuel issue is a limitation for all Venezuelans, I decided to give this experience to my girlfriend, so that she learns to drive and when at some point she can acquire a vehicle she will be able to manage well.

El tema de esta clase fue en su mayor el momento preciso en el cual devolver el volante al salir de una curva, sé que esta es una de las cosas más difíciles para los aprendices, tanto calcular el espacio de giro como salir de la curva en dirección recta. Creo que la mayoría de la clase estuvo enfocada en esto, más que en los pedales pues en esta zona el pedal del acelerador casi no se utiliza, pues se va sumamente lento.

The theme of this class was mostly the precise moment in which to return the steering wheel when exiting a curve, I know this is one of the most difficult things for the trainees, both calculating the turning space and exiting the curve in a straight direction. I think most of the class was focused on this, more than on the pedals, because in this area the accelerator pedal is hardly used, as it is extremely slow.

Otros vehículos la ponían nerviosa, incluso un padre y su hijo andando bicicleta por el área, evidentemente no es el mejor lugar para ello, con personas aprendiendo a conducir alrededor. Pero poco a poco ella fue sintiéndose más en confianza, harían falta unas 8 clases como para adquirir completa seguridad en cuanto al vehículo, ya andar en el tráfico es otra cosa.

También se trata de permitir que el aprendiz libere las tensiones que poco a poco se vaya sintiendo más seguro, que poco a poco sienta que tiene un buen control del vehículo, en cuanto a dirección, y aceleración y freno. El vehículo en el que practicamos es automático por lo que es aún más fácil.

Other vehicles made her nervous, even a father and son riding a bike in the area, obviously not the best place for it, with people learning to drive around. But little by little she felt more confident, it would take about 8 lessons to become completely confident in the vehicle, riding in traffic is another thing.

Para cerrar la clase anduvimos de retroceso para reconocer la dirección según los movimientos del volante, sin embargo esto fue como una introducción para una próxima clase, la cual no ha sido posible por el tema del combustible, pues se ha podido recargar solo para lo indispensable del día a día.

To close the class we went backwards to recognize the direction according to the movements of the steering wheel, however this was an introduction for a future class, which has not been possible due to the fuel issue, as it has been possible to refuel only for the indispensable of the day to day.
