Hive Open Mic Week 140 - Alam Raya (Original Song) by Indonesia Bersatu

Hello brothers and sisters, We are Indonesia Bersatu, a Punk Rock band from the city of Medan, Indonesia. We are back here to entertain you and also share the music videos we play in the #OpenMic Hive community which has entered its 140th week. We are grateful to be able to participate in this weekly event again even though it is not complete because our drummer is working out of town so we just play three So, this week's theme is “The Sea (Caribbean)" chosen by this week's spotlight artist @thelooter. This is a very good and interesting theme, so we made a song called “Alam Raya” in English “Nature”. it was written by our vocalist Opan Gobank on the same day.

Even though what determines the theme of writing the word "Caribbean", the song written by our vocalist is not about the Caribbean islands, but about Nature and the Earth which we must preserve and maintain its beauty. Because the sea is part of the universe that gives us life. If we surf the internet and look at photographs of the sea, then we will see the beauty that the universe has created for us to enjoy and protect.

But, there are also many irresponsible people polluting and destroying the environment in the sea. A lot of life and sources of life from the sea. The fish we eat come from the sea, and most of the oxygen we breathe is produced by plankton in the sea, even the entertainment we watch, such as Spongebob Squarepants, is also inspired by marine life. Then, why are there still people who pollute and pollute the sea? They throw trash and waste into the sea without caring about destroying this natural ecosystem.

So, this original song by our band sends a message to all of us that nature is beautiful, and God and the universe have created all of this for us to enjoy. So, we should care for this beautiful nature, preserve it, and we protect it together. Nothing else pollutes and pollutes nature, especially the sea. Because natural resources such as seas and forests are the source of our life. If we take care of nature, then nature will take care of us. Conversely, if we destroy nature, then we will be destroyed by nature. There have been many natural disasters that have occurred as a result of environmental destruction such as illegal logging, forest burning, pollution, marine pollution, etc. Therefore, let's take care of this beautiful nature together.
