    About :

To be honest, I only learned such "women's gathering" only exists in far-off countries. I saw women coming together to do certain rituals in honor of the moon and goddesses. I even saw photos of naked women bathing in rivers! Unfortunately, the latter wasn't in our to-do list. But then, out of nowhere I was led to a post on IG about this local women's gathering and as I've said, I didn't hesitate and went right in and registered a month before it happened.

If you saw my initial post about the Women's Full Moon Gathering I recently attended, I was only able to share a glimpse of the beautiful location where the event was held and some snippets from our Day 1 activities. For this video, I've already included the highlights of our Day 2 and Day 3!

Anyways, Day 1 was all about settling in and just connecting with the new faces I've met. I love how everyone was just open to the experience! So it was easy making new friends. Day 2 started with a river bath! I would have wanted to go in naked but we got "younger" adults with us and I would probably scare them off with how free I am. 😂 Then this was followed by a yoga session. It probably went on for an hour and thirty minutes. It was all good until the sun was high up. We were all drenched in sweat when we were doing the harder poses but I had a beautiful tan because of it!

A light breakfast was served and we had some time to just connect while others went for a river bath again. After lunch, we started with the workshops! 2 separate workshops were done simultaneously - Macrame led by Knotty Lifestyle and Crochet led by Annaplusone. We had to choose which one to start, then followed by the next. Macrame kind of called on in me and glad I picked that one out. I enjoyed learning a new form of art that involves "weaving" since in our country weaving is considered sacred for our indigenous tribes. Learning Macrame with these ladies was fun for even though we were so intent on finishing our project we got to talk about other interests like astrology, angels, tarot.

After 3 hours, we were still not done and so there wasn't enough time for us to do the Crochet workshop. But it was all good since most of us enjoyed bonding with each other. We then had dinner and proceeded with the Sacred Cacao Ceremony led by cielobeth. This was my second Cacao Ceremony and was a unique experience as the central theme was Self-Love. Another thing worth mentioning during this activity was when we used a Hapé (herbal medicine) before drinking our cacao drink. And oh boy! The Hapé was strong and yet it was powerful that I could feel my energy being cleared and went into this deep peace after a minute or two.

We also released some pent-up emotions by pairing up with another person and having a dialogue while pretending that we were a person from their life. That was also liberating. I think it went about 3 hours or more. After closing the ceremony, we still spent some time under the Full Moon. Of course, I danced under its power and beauty! A friend who can see spirits saw some who wanted to join in and got a bit scared and we reassured her that they were just curious and knows very well not to harm us. Well, I can't see them but I have this gift of "knowing and feeling". Decided to sleep right away after having tried the Kush. Well, let's just say it wasn't for me.

The only activity left for us on Day 3 was the Free Market. Before that, after our morning routine of river bath and breakfast, I immediately break camp so I still had time to just relax. And just before we had the last activity, it rained so hard but we still went on. For the Free Market, we brought some unused items that we are willing to let go of and let the other women have it. Brought a few clothes and crystals to give away. I picked a book and a few clothes during the swap. Raffle items were also given away from the Pop-Up Shops that attended the event.

The event finally came to an end and I can say all of us were happy from making new friends, learning new crafts, to engaging with fellow women. For me, it was all about meeting beautiful souls and new, genuine connections made! For sure this won't be the first and last WOMEN'S FULL MOON GATHERING! There will be more!
