VERMICELLI is a thin rice noodle and they are often referred to as a rice stick from refined flour of rice. Don't you know that there is 2 variety of vermicelli? The Italian and Asian Vermicelli. The main ingredients of vermicelli are only water and rice flour. The Italian vermicelli style was made of flour, egg, and salt.
Make no mistake about vermicelli. VERMICELLI RICE is made of actual grain rice, that is why they are known as Rice Noodles. VERMICELLI word is an Italian word, meaning "little worms" and it was gluten-free. These kinds of noodles are vegan!
PROCEDURE and INGREDIENTS
The ingredients are Vermicelli, Moringa, and its fruit, Garlic, Onion, Salt, Black Pepper, Ajinomoto (MSG), Cooking Oil, Sardines in Can (as you preferred), Lemon/Calamansi, and Hot Water. I did use the Lemon to remove the fishy smell and to adds a bit sour taste.
Prepare the deep casserole and heat. Put 2 tbsp cooking oil, after it is hot, add the garlic. When it is golden brown, pour hot boiled water. Let it boiled for 1 minute then the onion, salt, black pepper, MSG, sardines, and lemon and let it boil for 1 minute. Then put the vermicelli rice and stir! let it boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Close the gas range then pour all the Moringa and you're done! Don't let the moringa to be overcooked! This is why I eventually put Moringa in the final.
Last week, I learned that Moringa is also known as the Drumstick Tree, Miracle Tree, Ben Oil Tree, and Horseradish Tree from the other countries.
