HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 171 || SET FIRE TO THE RAIN COVER BY HOPE

Hello my beautiful listeners, it's Hopestylist here again with another music cover for an interesting theme DIVORCE/SEPARATION given by our beautiful spotlight artist @merit.ahama who will also be celebrating her birthday in two days from today (Happy birthday in arias sweetheart 🥰). Well, it was not so easy making up my mind to present this week but I had promised myself and our spotlight artist that I would make sure to leave a cover especially when I heard she was the spotlight artist and here I am, hehe.

Singing is beautiful and having a great theme makes it more worth it. The theme sits well with me on different levels but then I don't want to dive into it so much because the song cover I did explained so much about what I see separation or divorce as. So the song I sang is titled SET FIRE TO THE RAIN SANG BY ADELE. If you know who Adele is then you would agree with me that most of her songs are geared towards separation and this song was what she sang giving a picture of what her first relationship was like.

There's one song I love playing back then when the artist was trying to explain what love is and in the end she concluded that love is weird and I agree with her. Adele in this song, was happy to have someone who she thought loved her so dearly and she ended up falling so deeply for him but in a long run they had to go their separate ways because she got to discovered that she allowed love to blind her eyes towards all the red flags. When she finally saw all of it, she set fire to the rain, she let her feelings burn.

Separation is never easy for anyone but sometimes it might just be what is best for us, so it's fine to feel sad when we get separated from people but we know it is for the best most of the time. The part I loved most was when Adele said 'and I threw us into the flames, when it fell something died'. When we finally learn to let go things wibecome more lighter for us.

Hola mis hermosos oyentes, soy Hopestylist aquí nuevamente con otra versión musical de un tema interesante DIVORCIO/SEPARACIÓN a cargo de nuestra hermosa artista @merit.ahama quien también estará celebrando su cumpleaños dentro de dos días a partir de hoy (Feliz cumpleaños en arias cariño 🥰). Bueno, no fue tan fácil tomar la decisión de presentar esta semana, pero me prometí a mí misma y a nuestra artista destacada que me aseguraría de dejar una portada, especialmente cuando escuché que ella era la artista destacada y aquí estoy, jeje.

Cantar es hermoso y tener un gran tema hace que valga más la pena. El tema me sienta bien en diferentes niveles, pero no quiero sumergirme tanto en él porque la versión de la canción que hice explicaba mucho sobre cómo veo la separación o el divorcio. Así que la canción que canté se titula SET FIRE TO THE RAIN SANG BY ADELE. Si sabes quién es Adele entonces estarías de acuerdo conmigo en que la mayoría de sus canciones están orientadas a la separación y esta canción fue la que cantó dando una imagen de cómo fue su primera relación.

Hay una canción que me encanta escuchar cuando la artista intentaba explicar qué es el amor y al final concluyó que el amor es raro y estoy de acuerdo con ella. Adele en esta canción, estaba feliz de tener a alguien que creía que la amaba tanto y terminó enamorándose tan profundamente de él, pero a la larga tuvieron que ir por caminos separados porque descubrió que permitía que el amor cegara sus ojos ante todas las banderas rojas. Cuando finalmente lo vio todo, prendió fuego a la lluvia, dejó que sus sentimientos ardieran.

La separación nunca es fácil para nadie, pero a veces puede ser lo mejor para nosotros, por lo que está bien sentirse triste cuando nos separamos de las personas, pero sabemos que es lo mejor la mayor parte del tiempo. La parte que más me gustó fue cuando Adele dijo 'y nos tiré a las llamas, cuando cayó algo murió'. Cuando finalmente aprendamos a dejar ir, las cosas se volverán más ligeras para nosotros.
