GOD OF EVERYTHING COVER BY HOPE

Hello everyone, it's another week for sharing African songs and I had to say week 41 but I'm not sure if that's right since the community is having her Christmas event but I don't celebrate Christmas but I want to participate in the normal activities of the community.

I chose to present a song sang by a South African artist Jiwe Nikita titled GOD OF EVERYTHING. I've always loved this song from the first time I heard it, I actually thought it was sang by a Nigerian artist but I was totally wrong and I know many others as well. The song talks about the sovereignty of God and like the title of the song, he is the God of everything.

So many times, people try to act as if they are the owners of their lives or the owners of anything that are in their possession but then, the truth is, we are only caretakers of whatever is in our possession and God is the owner of everything on this earth and beyond. God has all the power that you can think of and he also gave power to whatever thing we feel has power and that's why we have to give him all that is due him.

He has given us all that we have and the best way to appreciate him is to do what he has commanded us to do, we have to obey his son Jesus Christ, he said Christ is his beloved son in whom he is well pleased and we should listen to him because God has put all things under his feet and made him head of his body which is the church.

So many people are very concerned about the celebration of Christmas at this time but then not so many care what Christ himself whom we claim to celebrate his birthday has asked his followers to do in remembrance of him.
