Slipper out of jeans | Creative Sunday

For me, creativity is a journey, a journey of learning new things, experiencing new stuff, laughing at stupid mistakes and at last satisfaction.

Hey Hive family, After waiting for a whole week finally a Sunday came and again it's time to create something special, something that I haven't tried yet.

I scrolled my YouTube and Google for inspiration to recreate for Creative Sunday but after scrolling for so long I still found myself with dissatisfaction on my face. I turned off my laptop and went to check my other stuff whether there was something that would help me fill my stomach out with some creative idea or not. Luckily, I found a piece of jeans fabric my mom bought a long ago... and different ideas started hitting my mind

Accessories? No, I won't have enough material,
Bags? But the zipper is a problem I won't have it,
Hairband? But it will not look good on me,
Slipper? oh yeah, that's a great idea to go for😂

The design randomly came to my mind and I went for it without delay, it was not planned to add a second strip to the slippers but when I wore it for the first time with one strip I found it difficult to walk while wearing this so I added another strip that helps as a support to slippers and also helps to walk comfortably.

Well, being honest I want to share the drawbacks of these slippers. Overall the slippers look good but when I wear them I feel a little discomfort when I am walking. Moreover, I used cardboard under the slippers so it's obvious that these slippers will not go for so long it's just a temporary design that one can place in a museum only....hehe😅

Well, no problem Creative Sunday is here for activating our arts skills but not for judging us.... Happy Sunday😉
