And also this songs was a global hit, tapping the charts in over twenty centuries, it's a pop song originally released by Canadian singer celine Dion for the film titanic. If you actually watch the movies titanic the answer is regarding the love of the two main character. At the end Jack, dies so she's merely saying “Near, far, wherever you are my heart will go on”. Even in his death he will always be in her heart.
