I want to welcome you to this week's Afritunes presentation. As we all know, it's the Afri-tunes Christmas event and I'm super excited to be a part of it. You see, since I saw the post about this event, I was so happy and anxious to be a part of it. Unfortunately due to some reasons, I couldn't make my submission earlier but I'm so greatful I'm able to meet the last day of the submission.

Today I will be singing a cover of Yoruba Christmas Carol songs. These are songs that I sang while growing up and it brought lots of fond memories. I came across a Medley cover of these songs online by Emmaohmygod but he's not the original composer of those songs. I don't even know the original composer, I just grow up singing them and so I simply used his arrangements for my cover.

The songs are wonderful songs which can easily be learnt and I will be glad if you can pick one or two out of it, learn it and sing along. I wish us an amazing festive period and a wonderful adventures in the remaining days of this year.

Hermosa mañana para ti,

Quiero darles la bienvenida a la presentación de Afritunes de esta semana. Como todos sabemos, es el evento navideño de Afri-tunes y estoy muy emocionado de ser parte de él. Verás, desde que vi la publicación sobre este evento, estaba tan feliz y ansiosa de ser parte de él. Desafortunadamente, debido a algunas razones, no pude hacer mi presentación antes, pero estoy muy agradecido de poder cumplir con el último día de la presentación.

Hoy cantaré una versión de canciones de villancicos navideños en yoruba. Estas son canciones que canté mientras crecía y me trajeron muchos buenos recuerdos. Encontré una versión de Medley de estas canciones en línea de Emmaohmygod, pero él no es el compositor original de esas canciones. Ni siquiera conozco al compositor original, simplemente crecí cantándolos y simplemente usé sus arreglos para mi versión.

Las canciones son canciones maravillosas que se pueden aprender fácilmente y estaré encantado si puedes elegir una o dos de ellas, apréndelas y canta. Nos deseo un maravilloso período festivo y maravillosas aventuras en los días restantes de este año.
