Hello Hello to all the musicians, consecrated and beginners who live in this wonderful and almost unexplored multiverse called #hive, especially to this beautiful #openmic family.

This week that exalts our virtue, I brought you a gift from the universal repertoire, and that in my personal opinion is one of the greatest virtues of our country #Venezuela, its music.

It is about: "Caballo viejo", a Llanera tune by the maestro Simón Diaz, from the album golpe y pasaje, from 1980, a song that has been translated into more than twelve languages and presented in more than three hundred versions and interpreters, among the most prominent are Placido Domingo, Julio Iglesias, Celia Cruz, Juan Gabriel, Raphael, Rubén Blades, Cumbia Queers, and even in the repertoire of The United States Army Field Band as part of Hispanic Heritage Month in 2011.

For the recording of the video my Redmi 9T phone, and for editing the Videomaker application, in its free version available in the playstore.

For the audio recording I used adobe audition and for editing a combination of this with the Audacity software.

For the preparation of the track I used the original song and I only deleted the vocal part with Adobe audition, it has some details, but I think it turned out quite well.

Esta semana que exalta nuestra virtud, les traje un regalo del repertorio universal, y que en mi opinión personal es una de las mayores virtudes de nuestro país #venezuela, su música.

Se trata de: "Caballo viejo", una tonada Llanera del maestro Simón Diaz, del álbum golpe y pasaje, del año 1980, un tema que ha sido traducido a mas de doce idiomas y presentado en mas de trescientas versiones e interpretes, entre los mas destacado se encuentran Placido Domingo, Julio Iglesias, Celia Cruz, Juan Gabriel, Raphael, Rubén Blades, Cumbia Queers, y hasta en el repertorio de The United States Army Field Band como parte del Mes de la Hispanidad en el año 2011.

Para la grabación del video mi teléfono Redmi 9T, y para su edición la aplicación Videomaker, en su versión gratuita disponible en la playstore.

Para la grabación de audio utilicé adobe audition y para la edición una combinación de este con el software Audacity.

Para la elaboración de la pista utilicé la canción original y solo le suprimí la parte vocal con Adobe audition, tiene algunos detalles, pero creo que quedó bastante bien.

Cuando el amor llega así de esta manera,

el carutal reverdece, el guamachito florece
y la soga se revienta.

Caballo le dan sabana porque está viejo y "cansao",
pero no se dan "de" cuenta que un corazón "amarrao"
cuando le sueltan las riendas es caballo "desbocao".

Y si una potra alazana caballo viejo se encuentra
el pecho se le desgrana, no le hace caso a falseta
y no le obedece a freno, ni lo paran falsas riendas.

cuando las ganas se juntan.

Caballo le dan sabana
Y tiene el tiempo "contao"
y se va por la mañana, con su pasito "apurao"
a verse con su potranca que lo tiene "embarbascao".

El potro da tiempo al tiempo porque le sobra la edad,
caballo viejo no puede perder la flor que le dan
porque después de esta vida no hay otra oportunidad.
