HIVE OPEN MIC #152/ ÓLÓLUFE BY WANDE COAL/ COVERED BY SLEEMFIT✨. [ENG-ESP]

Hello Hive Open Mic community, it's week #152 of our weekly concert and I'm really happy to share my entry..I trust we all are doing good. For this week I'd be performing a song by Nigerian singer-songwriter Wande Coal called "Ololufe" in line with this week's theme "Traditional Music" as chosen by recent spotlight artiste @bertrayo.

Ololufe is an indigenous word from the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria meaning My love/lover. The song is a beautiful love song telling your love interest how much you love them and assuring them that You're going to stick with them for life no matter the hardships faced. Also pleading with them not to ever leave you because they are everything to you, the love of your life and you can't imagine doing life without them. This song is a classic and it's more than 12 years old but then it's still a really beautiful song to listen to. I love Wande Coal so much and his voice, need I say He's one of my role models in the music Industry here in Nigeria, His voice is unique and so beautiful to listen to...one of the best male vocalist in Nigeria till date.

I love love and I believe in love(true love). Love is not just a feeling but an action, it requires consistency, Intentionality, Trust and Sacrifice. But sadly most people run away when it comes to sacrificing, they all go when it's no longer rosy, as sweet as it was in the beginning which is really sad. When you love someone, you love their whole existence, their whole being knowing no one is perfect. Love shouldn't only be given when it's suitable, it should be given always even when it's not so comfortable and rosy. People tend to leave and give up when their idea of what love should look like doesn't happen anymore forgetting the vows made to their partner. In sickness in health, for richer or poorer?

The song is more like a plea to your spouse or lover not to ever leave because you want a future with them, you wanna get married and have kids with them living happily ever-after no matter what life throws at you both, staying true and committed to each other knowing You'd make it through together. It's really sad people leave at the slightest discomfort forgetting the person is only human, has a heart and would never be perfect. My message to us would be to Love truly and really, Love and let love lead. I do hope you all enjoy 🎧 my cover of this classic. Amo tanto a Wande Coal y su voz, debo decir que es uno de mis modelos a seguir en la industria de la música aquí en Nigeria. Su voz es única y tan hermosa de escuchar... uno de los mejores vocalistas masculinos en Nigeria hasta la fecha. .

Amo el amor y creo en el amor (amor verdadero). El amor no es solo un sentimiento sino una acción, requiere constancia, Intencionalidad, Confianza y Sacrificio. Pero lamentablemente la mayoría de la gente se escapa cuando se trata de sacrificar, todos se van cuando ya no es color de rosa, tan dulce como era al principio, lo cual es realmente triste. Cuando amas a alguien, amas toda su existencia, todo su ser sabiendo que nadie es perfecto. El amor no sólo se debe dar cuando conviene, se debe dar siempre aunque no sea tan cómodo y color de rosa. La gente tiende a irse y darse por vencida cuando su idea de cómo debería ser el amor ya no sucede, olvidando los votos que le hizo a su pareja. En la enfermedad en la salud, ¿para más ricos o para más pobres?

La canción es más como una súplica a su cónyuge o amante para que nunca se vaya porque quiere un futuro con ellos, quiere casarse y tener hijos con ellos viviendo felices para siempre sin importar lo que la vida les depare a ambos, manteniéndose fiel y fiel. comprometidos el uno con el otro sabiendo que lo lograrían juntos. Es muy triste que la gente se vaya a la menor incomodidad olvidándose de que la persona es humana, tiene corazón y nunca sería perfecta.
