You do different things only because you want to show that to other people and ensure your social status. Have you ever considered whether it hurts you financially or not?

You buy different things to show off. Maybe you do not need those stuff. Spending money like this is nothing but wasting your hard-earned money. You want to do something but you don't take action to do that because you are worried about what other people think of you. You don't need social validation. If you think something is good for you, you can do that.
