Greetings dear Hive Community. It is a pleasure to present a genre called Aguinaldo Parranda, according to Maestro Ivan Lira, is made only in the town of Cata, Aragua State, is entitled "Three White Doves", Folklore Music for the first time was heard the Cultora Hermogenes Diaz, Parrandera of San Juan and the Child Jesus, Lavandera of the people, a woman with great wisdom that leaves a great legacy which is maintained over time.

Why is it called Aguinaldo Parranda? Aguinaldo because it is sung to the Baby Jesus and parranda because it is sung in the street, it represents walking together through the streets of the town, maintaining family unity and linking to the socio-cultural fact, living the experience of enjoying and walking through the streets playing typical instruments such as the Venezuelan cuatro, the tambora and the charrasca, singing with joy, rhythm and festive atmosphere.

I love this genre, I learned it from Maestro Iván Lira, and he authorized me to sing it through Hive and make it known in our great community, it is a wonderful way to reach the whole world.

It should be noted, I am a member of the Experimental Group Tambor y Gloria for twenty-five years approximately, today I am accompanied by the teacher and sister of life Belkis Figuera in the Charrasca and voice, Domicio Dugarte on bass and percussion: Sulyn Villarroel and Maestro Ivan Lira (Musical Director).

As I describe in the video, this is a small representation of its members, most are natives of Cata, their grandparents, parents, uncles, came to Caracas to Sector El Guarataro, San Juan Parish, many years ago providing contributions from generation to generation through the Feasts of St. John the Baptist, the Child Jesus, St. Francis of Assisi, among other cultural and community activities that enrich our identity.
