Gabo Play Pokemon Quest #4: Slowbro Rises [ENG/SPA]

Greetings friends, I am pleased to share with the community the first recorded gameplay of Pokemon Quest. This is the fourth post I've done about the game but the first one in video so you can see my progress and the game mechanics, which in itself is great.

This time the main characters of the game are four Pokemon of my team, such as Golem, Alakazam, Rapidash and Slowpoke, although technically there were two slowpoke but one was the one that evolved to Slowbro but you will see this in the video.

The area to explore this time is one that I have already shown you in previous videos, the Fulgor Cave, only this time the level we will explore will be the last one in this area. The most difficult I had played so far, to the point that I had to replace my usual equipment for one specifically effective against that area, because the enemies were not easy to defeat by any pokemon.

Speaking of Golduck. One might think, at least I thought so, that by integrating Golduck to the team I could win in the area in question, but no, it turns out that the game only takes Golduck as water type so it doesn't give a bonus to my team to be able to assault this expedition, as it gives an attack/resistance bonus to psychic types, like Alakazan, but not to Golduck, because it is water type.

That's why I had to resort to Slowpoke. In the beginning this pokemon came to my camp almost every time, because I made a red soup that attracted this pokemon. However, I had one that was higher than level 30 and had not evolved it, until now, that I needed a Slowbro that was strong enough to fight the pokemon in this area, which were mostly of the ghost type, such as Gastly, Hounter and Gengar. Yes there were a couple of Magneton, but almost all of them were of the ghost type.

Slowbro was evidently weak against Magneton, in fact it did nothing to them. It was Alakazam and Golem himself, who managed to do enough damage to the Magnetons; however, when the ghost types appeared, I used Golem to tank and Slowbro and Alakazan to cause as much damage as possible.

It wasn't easy, but this level cost me quite a lot, it was really challenging. In the video I had to cut some expeditions to that same area, as I tried 5 or 6 times to defeat the final boss Gengar, but it was very complicated. In fact, I would dare to say that I defeated him by pure luck, as my team was weaker.

Saludos amigos, me complace compartir con la comunidad el primer gameplay grabado de Pokemon Quest. Esta es la cuarta publicación que he hecho sobre el juego pero la primera en video así que podrán ver mi avance y la mecánica del juego, que de por si es genial.

En esta ocasión los protagonistas del juego son cuatro Pokemon de mi equipo, tales como Golem, Alakazam, Rapidash y Slowpoke, aunque técnicamente fueron dos slowpoke pero uno fue el que evolucinó a Slowbro pero esto ya lo verán en el video.

La zona a explorar en esta ocasión es una que ya les he mostrado en videos anteriores, la Cueva Fulgor, solo que en esta ocasión el nivel que exploraremos será el último de esta área. El más difícil que había jugado hasta ahora, al punto que tuve que reemplazar mi equipo habitual por uno específicamente efectivo contra esa área, pues los enemigos no eran fáciles de derrotar por cualquier pokemon.

Pokemon Quest es un juego bastante interesante. Es un juego donde puedes acompañar a 3 pokemon y explorar con ellos una serie de zonas con distintas clases de Pokemon, todos tan geniales como simpáticos.

Hablando de Golduck. Uno podría pensar, al menos yo lo pensé, que integrando a Golduck al equipo podría vencer en el área en cuestión, pero no, resulta que el juego solo toma a Golduck como tipo agua así que no da un bonus a mi equipo para poder asaltar esta expedición, pues da un bonus de ataque/resistencia a los tipo psíquico, como Alakazan, pero al Golduck no, porque es tipo agua.

Por eso tuve que recurrir a Slowpoke. En un comienzo este pokemon llegaba a mi campamento casi siempre, porque hacía una sopa roja que atraía a este pokemon. Sin embargo, tenía uno que era mayor al nivel 30 y no lo había hecho evolucionar, hasta ahora, que necesitaba un Slowbro que fuese lo suficientemente fuerte como para combatir a los pokemon de esta área, que en su mayoría eran del tipo fantasma, como Gastly, Hounter y Gengar. Sí había un par de Magneton, pero casi todos eran del tipo fantasma.

Slowbro evidentemente era debil contra los Magneton, de hecho no les hacía nada. Era Alakazam y el propio Golem, los que lograban hacer daño suficiente a los Magneton; sin embargo, cuando aparecían los tipo fantasma, usaba a Golem para tanquear y a Slowbro y Alakazan para causar el mayor daño posible.

No fue fácil, pero este nivel me costó bastante, fue realmente desafiante. En el video tuve que cortar algunas expediciones a esa misma área, pues intenté 5 o 6 veces derrotar al jefe final Gengar, pero era muy complicado. De hecho, me atrevería a decir que lo derroté por pura suerte, pues mi equipo era más débil.
