Martial arts since its birth have been the way in which the weakest, smallest or most vulnerable have been able to learn to defend themselves but after reaching the peak in how much physical level, a new path can be spotted and is one that we can not walk with nothing more than our mind.

The forms or pumses used in Taekwondo are the materialization of the union of both paths, that of physical strength and that of strength of mind. The pumses are a combination of movements or techniques of attack and defense to fight against various imaginary opponents in order to improve our strength, concentration, balance, coordination, self-control and determination. Only 2 of these aspects can make you a good athlete but all together make a martial artist.

In this video you will see the first of 8 pumses, the Taeguk iL Jang form which represents the totality of the sky and the beginning of everything.
