Hello friends of Hive and my Hive Open Mic family, I'm Fernando Benedetti from @fernanblog, I'm pleased to join you for another week in our global event, this time with a theme that lends itself to be interpreted in several ways...
"Undisclosed Words", proposed by the talented and amazing @hanselmusic, can mean silence, secrets, adventure, pleasure, love... as well as it can be related to fear and panic...
One of the biggest reasons that motivated me to become a psychologist, was that I wanted to help children mainly; I have always thought that it is easier to help a child than an adult, and it is obvious, a child is in the process of molding his personality, his values, his beliefs and it is much easier to give him the tools to defend himself before the world, a corrupted world that makes it more difficult to be a mom and dad.
My philosophy is simple: if we form children from love, teaching them to communicate effectively and actively, to respect themselves, to be respected and to respect their neighbors, to learn to be more confident, to defend themselves when they are treated unfairly; we will make healthier adults, with criteria and with the ability to discern the good and the bad...
But this sounds nice, the problem is that there are so many dysfunctional homes in the world that there are children who grow up with a lifestyle where they see everything as normal and it turns out that they are in hell itself and that leads them in the future to paths that generate deep existential chaos and alters the concept of what love and happiness are.
With this theme these children came to my mind, those who are in such an adverse and hostile environment, that their upbringing is based on psycho-terror. Children who are systematic victims of torture, mistreatment and abuse; those children who in silence create a parallel world where rage, resentment, discomfort are part of their daily life...
In my 16 years of professional practice as a psychologist I have seen and heard everything, and the biggest problem we have as a society is the creation of "families" without commitment, without solid foundations of well-being; families that are formed from impulses, without prior planning ... this is the number one enemy of today's world and that increases negatively, any favorable step of evolution as a species, at least, I see it that way.
The song I am going to interpret today focuses on child abuse, that which makes a child grow up with insecurities, complexes and develop a pathological level of submission that leads to severe mental disorders. This song is a letter from a son or daughter to that mother and father who hurts, it is the way he or she found to communicate in the face of so many outrages and to manifest what has always been hidden, those words that are not revealed at the moment...
"For You" is the fourth single from the 3rd studio album of the Northamerican rock band Staind, called "Break The Cycle" released in 2001. This single ended up consolidating the success of this band, winner of multiple awards and recognitions for their millions of sales worldwide.
With this in mind and without further ado, I bring you my presentation for week 108 of the Hive Open Mic and with it I raise my voice to say: ¡¡¡NO to child abuse and mistreatment!!!
Hola amigos de Hive y de mi familia Hive Open Mic, soy Fernando Benedetti de @fernanblog, me complace acompañarlos otra semana más en nuestro evento mundial, en esta oportunidad con una temática que se presta para ser interpretada de varias formas…
“Undisclosed Words” o Palabras No Reveladas, propuesto por el talentoso e increíble @hanselmusic, puede significar silencio, secretos, aventura, placer, amor… al igual que puede estar relacionado al miedo y al pánico…
Una de las razones más grandes que me motivo a ser psicólogo, era que quería ayudar a los niños principalmente; yo siempre he pensado que es más fácil ayudar a un niño que a un adulto, y es obvio, un niño está en proceso de moldear su personalidad, sus valores, sus creencias y es mucho más sencillo darle las herramientas para defenderse ante el mundo, un mundo corrompido y que hace más difícil el ser mamá y papá.
Mi filosofía es sencilla: si a los niños los formamos desde el amor, enseñándoles a comunicarse de forma efectiva y activa, a que se respeten, se hagan respetar y respeten a su prójimo, a que aprendan a ser más seguros, a que se defiendan cuando sean tratados de forma injusta; haremos adultos más sanos, con criterio y con capacidad de discernir lo bueno y lo malo…
Pero esto suena bonito, el problema es que hay tantos hogares disfuncionales en el mundo que hay niños que crecen con un estilo de vida donde todo lo ven normal y resulta que están en el propio infierno y eso los lleva en el futuro a caminos que generan caos existencial profundo y altera el concepto de lo que es el amor y la felicidad.
Con esta temática me vino a la mente estos niños, los que están en un ambiente tan adverso y hostil, que su crianza se basa en el psicoterror. Niños que son víctimas sistemáticas de tortura, maltrato y abuso; esos niños que en el silencio crean un mundo paralelo donde la rabia, el rencor, el malestar forman parte de su día a día…
En mis 16 años de ejercicio profesional como psicólogo he visto y escuchado de todo, y el problema más grande que tenemos como sociedad es la creación de “familias” sin compromiso, sin bases sólidas de bienestar; familias que se forman desde los impulsos, sin planificación previa... este es el enemigo número uno del mundo actual y que acrecienta de forma negativa, cualquier paso favorable de evolución como especie, al menos, yo lo veo así.
La canción que les voy a interpretar hoy se centra en el maltrato infantil, ese que hace que un niño crezca con inseguridades, complejos y que desarrolle un nivel patológico de sumisión que lo lleva a alteraciones mentales severas. Esta canción es una carta de un hijo o hija a esa mamá y papá que hace daño, es la forma que encontró para comunicarse ante tantos atropellos y manifestar lo que siempre ha estado oculto, esas palabras que por voluntad propia no son reveladas en el momento…
“For You” (Para Ti) es el cuarto sencillo del 3er álbum de estudio de la banda norteamericana de rock Staind (Manchado), llamado “Break The Cycle” (Rompe El Ciclo) lanzado en el año 2001. Este sencillo terminó de consolidar el éxito de esta banda, acreedora de múltiples premios y de reconocimientos por sus millones de ventas a nivel mundial.
Teniendo esto muy en cuenta y sin más preámbulos, les traigo mi presentación para la semana 108 del Hive Open Mic y con ella alzo mi voz para decir: ¡¡¡NO al maltrato y abuso infantil!!!
