Hello friends of Hive and my family of the Hive Open Mic; we arrive at week 167 whose theme recreates a word known worldwide. "Otaku" proposed by our friend @eudarcabello, refers to those fans of Japanese culture (at least that's how we know it in the West) and more when it refers to anime and manga.

I personally don't consider myself an Otaku, but I don't deny my love for anime; I have watched the most famous ones since I was a teenager and I still do; I recently finished watching the 3rd season of Kimetsu No Yaiba/Demon Slayer and if you don't know it, but you have seen Dragon Ball and Naruto, you will love it because it will be an anime that will go down in history as one of the best.

For this theme I wanted to bring a guitar cover of the 2nd opening of an anime that managed to enter my mind when I saw it, it is Death Note, a psychological thriller that can bring out your darkest side as it leads you to question your morals and respect for human life. It's about a notebook that allows you to take someone's life just by writing their name in it, as well as writing the exact details of that person's death. The whole plot revolves around this notebook and how it is used to kill criminals mainly because the protagonist wants to create a new world, but like everything else, when he goes too far, he draws the attention of the authorities and starts a hunt for him, creating a murky atmosphere during 37 episodes of this anime. I will not give you more spoilers because it is worth watching... if you have Netflix, you can watch a Live Action movie whose adaptation was great and through it you will know more about the plot.

"What's Up People?!" is the song for which this anime became most famous. It is the 2nd single from the 5th studio album of the Japanese metal band Maximum The Hormone, titled Buiikikaesu (Resurrect) released in 2007. This album is a work of art from start to finish because of its intensity and strength, as it is a perfect mix of metal, funk, punk and pop... 100% recommended if you are a rock and metal lover like me.

This song talks about the human condition and the psychological and social conflicts that are created from an unstable and dehumanized mind. Hola amigos de Hive y de mi familia del Hive Open Mic; arribamos a la semana 167 cuya temática nos recrea una palabra conocida mundialmente. "Otaku" propuesta por nuestro amigo @eudarcabello, se refiere a aquellos fanáticos de la cultura japonesa (al menos así la conocemos en occidente) y más cuando se refiere a animes y mangas.

Yo en lo personal no me considero Otaku, pero no niego mi gusto por los animes; he visto los más famosos desde mi adolescencia y todavía lo hago; recientemente terminé de ver la 3era temporada de Kimetsu No Yaiba/Demon Slayer y si no lo conoces, pero has visto Dragon Ball y Naruto, te encantará porque será una serie que pasará a la historia como otra de las mejores.

Para esta temática quise traer un guitar cover del 2do opening de un anime que logró entrar en mi mente cuando lo vi, se trata de Death Note, un thriller psicológico que puede sacar tu lado más oscuro ya que te lleva a cuestionar tu moral y el respeto por la vida humana. Se trata de un cuaderno que permite quitarle la vida a alguien con solo escribir su nombre en él, además de escribir los detalles exactos de la muerte de esa persona. Toda la trama gira en torno a este cuaderno y como es utilizado para acabar con criminales principalmente ya que el protagonista desea crear un nuevo mundo, pero como todo, al excederse, llama la atención de las autoridades y empieza una cacería hacía él, creándose un ambiente turbio durante 37 episodios que contiene este anime. No te haré más spoilers porque vale la pena verlo, si posees Netflix, podrás ver una película Live Action cuya adaptación quedó genial y por medio de ella conocerás más a fondo la trama.

"What's Up People?!" es la canción por la que más famoso se hizo este anime. Es el 2do sencillo del 5to álbum de estudio de la banda de metal japonesa Maximum The Hormone, titulado Buiikikaesu (Resucitar) lanzado en el año 2007. Este disco es una obra de arte de inicio a fin por lo intenso y fuerte ya que es una perfecta mezcla de metal, funk, punk y pop... recomendado al 100% si eres amante del rock y del metal como yo.

Esta canción habla de la condición de ser humano y de los conflictos psicológicos y sociales que se crean a partir de una mente inestable y deshumanizada. Abajo te dejaré las versiones subtituladas al inglés y al español al igual que el audio oficial de la canción que justo fue subido a Youtube hace 3 días en un nuevo canal de la banda ya que sus canciones son difíciles de conseguir.
