THROWBACK TO MY EXPERIENCE DURING THE COVID-19 LOCKDOWN PERIOD (ENG-ESP)

Hello everyone @throwbackthursday community, I'm @fab-tay and i welcome us all to yet another throwback thursday once again 🕺and it's always a delight to relieve the memories of great moments of the past. This week, my throwback will be on my experience during the Covid-19 lockdown period between year 2020-2021. The world experienced the tragic Covid-19 pandemic which led to lockdown of nations of the world. Here in Nigeria my country, the lockdown came in February 2020 to around October the following year where several protocols were established like use of hand sanitizers, social distancing, use of facemask, temperature check and most importantly, isolation centers were set-up for the management and recovery of infected individuals so as to prevent further spread. I was just three (3) months to round up my professional internship in the Hospital where i was interned that the lockdown began. We health care professionals where exempted from lockdown and hence, we are still on operation aswell as other essential workers like the security personnels, fire fighters etc. During this lockdown, i learnt alot about Covid-19 and its management and infact, worked closely with the set-up management team for the pandemic in the hospital i worked. Also, during the lockdown after i finished my internship, i worked in a community pharmacy premise as a Locum Pharmacist then. There, i celebrated my birthday and it marked a strong foundation to what I'm doing presently. Thereafter, after the Covid-19 pandemic, i was mobilised for the mandatory national service which was delayed for a year as a result of the lockdown. The lockdown experience for me has some positive impacts even though it was really a challenging moment then. Thanks for reading and comments are highly welcomed.

Hola a todos, comunidad de @throwbackthursday, soy @fab-tay y les doy la bienvenida a todos a otro jueves de retroceso una vez más 🕺 y siempre es un placer aliviar los recuerdos de grandes momentos del pasado. Esta semana, recordaré mi experiencia durante el período de bloqueo de Covid-19 entre el año 2020-2021. El mundo experimentó la trágica pandemia de Covid-19 que provocó el bloqueo de las naciones del mundo. Aquí en Nigeria, mi país, el bloqueo llegó desde febrero de 2020 hasta aproximadamente octubre del año siguiente, donde se establecieron varios protocolos como el uso de desinfectantes para manos, distanciamiento social, uso de mascarilla, control de temperatura y, lo más importante, se establecieron centros de aislamiento para los gestión y recuperación de personas infectadas para evitar una mayor propagación. Tenía apenas tres (3) meses para culminar mis prácticas profesionales en el Hospital donde estuve internado cuando comenzó el confinamiento. Nosotros, los profesionales de la salud, quedamos exentos del bloqueo y, por lo tanto, todavía estamos en funcionamiento, al igual que otros trabajadores esenciales como el personal de seguridad, los bomberos, etc. Durante este encierro, aprendí mucho sobre Covid-19 y su manejo y, de hecho, trabajé en estrecha colaboración con el equipo de gestión de la pandemia en el hospital en el que trabajé. Además, durante el encierro, después de terminar mis prácticas, trabajé en una farmacia comunitaria como farmacéutico suplente. Allí celebré mi cumpleaños y marcó una base sólida para lo que estoy haciendo actualmente. Posteriormente, tras la pandemia de Covid-19, me movilizaron para realizar el servicio nacional obligatorio, que se retrasó un año como consecuencia del confinamiento. La experiencia del encierro para mí tiene algunos impactos positivos a pesar de que fue un momento realmente desafiante en ese entonces. Gracias por leer y los comentarios son muy bienvenidos.
