🎁¡Hola querida comunidad!🎁

Hoy vengo a contarles todo lo que ocurrió el día de ayer en nuestra tan esperada iniciativa a nivel mundial “Regalando sonrisas en Navidad”, a mí me tocó ser parte de esta bonita labor en el oriente del país, específicamente, en Cumaná, en compañia de @leidimarc. Al principio la idea era donar todas las cositas que pudiéramos recolectar en el Hospital HUAPA de la ciudad, pero el protocolo para tener los permisos era muy complicado, había que escribir una carta y esperar la aprobación, y cómo teníamos alrededor de 2 semanas para organizarnos, optamos por buscar alternativas, así que a través de un conocido de @leidimarc, dimos con una comunidad llamada “Ignacio Arenas” la cual carece de muchísimos recursos, pero a través de la Fundación SALMA, quiénes ya llevan tiempo haciendo labor social con esta pequeña comunidad, nos dieron acceso al censo de niños y adultos que nos facilitó el trabajo a la hora de clasificar y envolver regalos, que les digo de antemano no fue nada fácil, fueron alrededor de 25kg de ropa, pero agradecida estoy con cada persona que puso su granito de arenas para que esta labor social se hiciera posible y pudiéramos darle una sorpresa a cada persona de esta comunidad.

Today I come to tell you everything that happened yesterday in our long-awaited global initiative “Giving smiles at Christmas”, I had to be part of this beautiful work in the east of the country, specifically , in Cumaná, in the company of @leidimarc. At first the idea was to donate all the things we could collect at the HUAPA Hospital in the city, but the protocol to obtain the permits was very complicated, we had to write a letter and wait for approval, and how did we About 2 weeks to organize, we decided to look for alternatives, so through an acquaintance of @leidimarc, we found a community called “Ignacio Arenas” which lacks many resources, but through the Foundation SALMA, who have been doing social work with this small community for some time, gave us access to the census of children and adults that made our work easier when classifying and wrapping gifts, which I tell you in advance was not easy at all, It was around 25kg of clothes, but I am grateful to each person who did their bit to make this social work possible and we could give a surprise to each person in this community.

Lo primero que hicimos fue ir a primera hora de la mañana a retirar un detallito que nos envío el equipo de Hive´s Red Carpet a través de la empresa de envíos MRW, para ir bien navideñas a nuestro evento. Y ya con esto en mano, pudimos movilizarnos hacia el Centro Comercial "Ciudad Traki", donde algunas hivers esperarían para ir a la comunidad donde se llevaría a cabo la iniciativa.

The first thing we did was go first thing in the morning to pick up a little detail that the Hive's Red Carpet team sent us through the shipping company MRW, to go well for Christmas to our event. And with this in hand, we were able to move to the "Ciudad Traki" Shopping Center, where some hivers would wait to go to the community where the initiative would take place.

Al llegar al sitio de la donación, ya el equipo de la Fundación SALMA, se encontraba allí para pesar, medir, desparasitar y entregar vitaminas a los niños del lugar. Aprovechamos de organizar los regalos junto con la decoración de Hive pertinente, que constaba de unos pendones que prestó el equipo de @hivesucre, y esto fue el inicio de lo que fue una de las labores más bonitas que he hecho en mi vida, regalar felicidad y sonrisas.
No tomé muchas fotografías, ya que a medida que iban llegando las personas el trabajo estaba en mantener el orden para que cada quien se lleve su obsequio a casa según el censo que tenía anotado en mi agenda, pero, siento que las fotografías que tomé reflejan lo que puede se puede lograr con Hive en las manos correctas. Como lo había dicho muchas veces, Hive tiene la cualidad de transformar lo ordinario en extraordinario, y llevar nuestros sueños y visiones más allá de lo digital.

Me siento muy afortunada de haber tomado la decisión aquel día de enviar ese video de inscripción para participar en el Hive´s Top Model 2023, y hoy encontrarme aquí haciendo labor social, ayudando a los demás, llevando un poco de alegría a personas de mi territorio de mano de muchas personas maravillosas que están al frente de las ideas y organización de todo este proyecto.

Upon arriving at the donation site, the SALMA Foundation team was already there to weigh, measure, deworm and deliver vitamins to the local children. We took advantage of organizing the gifts along with the relevant Hive decoration, which consisted of some banners provided by the @hivesucre team, and this was the beginning of what was one of the most beautiful tasks I have ever done in my life. life, give happiness and smiles.
I didn't take many photographs, since as people arrived the job was to maintain order so that everyone could take their gift home according to the census that I had written down in my agenda, but I feel that the photographs I took reflect what can be achieved with Hive in the right hands. As I had said many times, Hive has the quality of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, and taking our dreams and visions beyond the digital.
I feel very lucky to have made the decision that day to send that registration video to participate in Hive's Top Model 2023, and today to find myself here doing social work, helping others, bringing a little of joy to people in my territory from the many wonderful people who are in charge of the ideas and organization of this entire project.
