Busking - Ed Privat (Acoustic Live)

We good...

I am exploring another song from my first album Neo (2013), it's called "Busking".
You might not know it, but I've done tons of busking, especially in the early years of my career, 15 years ago :D

• It was a fantastic school of life, and helped me to build up confidence. I am amazed to see kids nowadays, oozing confidence & skills on stage, it literally took me years to be able to sound somewhat professional, and I am still not entirely satisfied of course, always room for improvment, but busking was a foundation of my musical journey
• It was sometimes brutal, I remember being 20 years old, going to London bridge and busk for hours, trying all sort of songs, covers, and my first compositions. Getting excited about music, its possibilities...Getting also disappointed :D realizing that nobody will hold my hand to take me to a studio to record my first song. The first song recorded, wasn't the best...But after few more, I eventually got somewhere...

15 years...

I'am about to statrt collaborating with another artist, and I saw he posted this on instagram

While I agree with him that cover can kill creativity, I never thought I was hiding behind covers, I actually always change them, make them my own. It would be of course disrespectful to say that I improved them, but I have to admit I feel that I am bringing something different to the table with it.
