Hive music festival Semana 25 - She - Green Day by @diegoaudio

Un gran saludo a la comunidad de music zone, estoy muy emocionado pues dentro de las publicaciones que he realizado para Hive esta es la primera vez que participo en un concurso musical en donde haré vida con otras personas que comparten mi pasión por la música, debo aclarar que mi instrumento principal es la batería y por tanto la guitarra no es mi fuerte por lo tanto trato de acompañar mi voz de forma sencilla y rítmica para poder participar, de hecho aun no tengo guitarra y esta me la prestó un gran amigo mio.

Le traigo un temita que recuerdo de los noventa y es de la banda Punk Green Day, este nombre creo que no amerita ninguna introducción, y recuerdo cuando patinaba de chico que básicamente era el soundtrack para darle velocidad a las piernas y saltar en esa tabla. No solo escuche ese tema mientras patinaba sino que como baterista toque ese tema muchas veces en fiestas de amigos y toques con varias bandas, simplemente era un tema que tenia que tener aprendido.

También para mi esta grabación ha sido un experimento de grabación en vivo, es decir, la manera de grabar directamente sin mucho trabajo de postproducción ni retoques de edición, pero permitiendo la posibilidad de mezclar y dar una sonoridad agradable lo más rápido posible, use un micrófono dinámico para grabar mi voz y evitar la captación de los charrasqueos de la guitarra, pues el micrófono de condensador es muy sensible, y la guitarra eléctrica la conecte directo a mi interface, ya dentro de mi programa de grabación le aplique una emulación de amplificador con distorsión y un gabinete 4x12 para obtener ese sonido característico de gabinetes de gran formato. Luego puede agregar un compresor, un saturador y un ecualizador a mi voz para obtener ese sonido tipo consola analógica que me agrada mucho.

Espero sea de su agrado mi modesta interpretación, y claro no podía faltar un distortion bien fuerte en mi guitarra para darle ese toque rockero bien merecido.

A big greeting to the music zone community, I am very excited because within the publications I have made for Hive this is the first time I participate in a music contest where I will live with other people who share my passion for music, I must clarify that my main instrument is the drums and therefore the guitar is not my forte so I try to accompany my voice in a simple and rhythmic way to participate, in fact I still have no guitar and I borrowed it from a great friend of mine.

I bring you a little song that I remember from the nineties and is from the Punk band Green Day, this name I think does not deserve any introduction, and I remember when I was skating as a kid that basically was the soundtrack to give speed to the legs and jump on that board. Not only I listened to that song while skating but as a drummer I played that song many times in parties with friends and played with several bands, it was simply a song that I had to have learned.

Also for me this recording has been an experiment in live recording, that is, the way to record directly without much postproduction work or editing touches, but allowing the possibility to mix and give a nice sound as quickly as possible, I used a dynamic microphone to record my voice and avoid picking up the guitar's chattering, I used a dynamic microphone to record my voice and to avoid picking up the guitar's hums, since the condenser microphone is very sensitive, and the electric guitar I connected directly to my interface, already inside my recording program I applied an amplifier emulation with distortion and a 4x12 cabinet to obtain that characteristic sound of large format cabinets. Then you can add a compressor, a saturator and an equalizer to my voice to get that analog console sound that I like very much.

I hope you like my modest interpretation, and of course I could not miss a strong distortion on my guitar to give it that well deserved rock touch.
