    ¡Feliz semana, amigos de Foodies Bee Hive! Les saluda @rosana6 y en esta ocasión deseo presentarles un postre que no solo es muy tradicional en Venezuela, sino también en muchas partes del mundo, se trata del Arroz con Leche. Veamos los ingredientes y la preparación.

    Ingredients / Ingredientes:

    • 2 cups of white rice / 2 Tazas de arroz blanco

    • 4 cups of water / 4 Tazas de agua

    • 100 g. of white sugar / 100 g. de Azúcar blanco

    • Cinnamon sticks and powdered cinnamon / Canela en rama y en polvo

    • One can or carton of condensed milk / Una lata o cartón de leche condensada

    • 1 liter of milk / 1 Litro de leche

    • Vanilla extract to taste / Extracto de vainilla al gusto

    Preparation / Preparación:

    We begin by placing the rice, sugar, cinnamon stick and water in a pot to cook over medium heat.

    Comenzamos colocando el arroz, el azúcar, la canela en rama y el agua en una olla para su cocción a fuego medio.

    Once the rice has softened a little, add the milk, vanilla and condensed milk.

    Una vez que el arroz haya ablandado un poco agregamos la leche, la vainilla y la leche condensada.

    Stir constantly to prevent the rice from sticking.

    Debemos remover constantemente para evitar que el arroz se pegue.

    Let it cook until the rice softens or is at the desired consistency. Once the rice is ready, remove it from the heat and let it rest.

    Dejamos cocinar hasta que el arroz ablande o esté en la consistencia deseada. Una vez que tengamos listo el arroz, lo retiramos del fuego y dejamos reposar.

    Place the rice in a bowl and let it refrigerate for a few hours.

    Colocamos en arroz en un recipiente y dejamos refrigerar por algunas horas.
