Estoy emocionado porque este es mi primer post dentro de este festival! Espero hacerlo bien! Ahora bien, mientras escucho Landmines de Sum 41 les escribo esto: Si no han escuchado el Album Toxic Positivity de The Used, aun están a tiempo muchachos. Es violento, es pop, es impredecible. Soy fan de la banda desde hace años y en mi opinion este es uno de sus mejores discos. Esta lleno de diferentes estilos de metal y lo combinan con el rock emo que han estado haciendo desde el principio. Es una aleación de emo con metalcore, pop y cosas locas que solo harían ellos. Por eso los amo, han estado experimentando desde hace rato de forma interesante. Y a parte las letras son como... es como si el vocalista abriera su mente para ver donde están los problemas, como se sienten las cosas, de donde vienen, a donde van. Cualquier cosa que diga sobre este Master Piece se queda corta. Y esta canción no es la excepción, la poesía con que describe la necesidad de estar cerca me mata cada vez que la escucho. Quería cantarla pero es muy difícil para mi, Berth (el vocalista) es demasiado bueno y llega muy arriba! No se si quizá en un futuro, con algo de suerte, logre hacer el cover vocal. I'm excited because this is my first post within this festival! I hope to do well! Now, while I'm listening to Sum 41's Landmines I'm writing this to you: If you haven't heard The Used's Toxic Positivity Album, there's still time guys. It's violent, it's pop, it's unpredictable. I have been a fan of the band for years and in my opinion this is one of their best albums. It's full of different styles of metal and they combine it with the emo rock that they've been doing since the beginning. It's an alloy of emo with metalcore, pop and crazy things that only they would do. That's why I love them, they have been experimenting for a while in interesting ways. And besides, the lyrics are like... it's as if the vocalist opened his mind to see where the problems are, how things feel, where they come from, where they are going. Anything I say about this Master Piece falls short. And this song is no exception, the poetry with which it describes the need to be close to me kills every time I listen to it. I wanted to sing it but it's very difficult for me, Berth (the vocalist) is too good and reaches very high! I don't know if maybe in the future, with some luck, I'll be able to do the vocal cover.
