Hello Everyone,
Here I am coming with another vlog on Leo Finance. I am going to submit this vlog for the ongoing Zealy Adoption Campaign on Leo Finance. Today I am going to talk about LeoVerse and Leo Finance.

What is LeoVerse

A multi-chain decentralized finance (DeFi) project built with the intention of achieving long term sustainability while providing stakeholders with assets that could appreciate in value over time. In addition, income streams are generated by staking tokens in different ways which generates a strong APR.

What is Leofinance.io

The flagship of the entire project is Leofinance.io, which is the social media application. This is a long form blogging platform designed in the style of Seeking Alpha. However, this is a Web 3.0 application, being built on the Hive blockchain.

Users can earn tokens and coins for their activity. All articles posted are eligible for author rewards. This can come in the form of the blockchain's native coin $HIVE along with the $LEO token.

Leofinance uses Hive's Proof-of-Brain mechanism. This provides both content creators and curators with the ability to participate in the ranking of on-chain content. Curation is done by the community, each with voting power based upon how many coins and tokens are staked. As one's staking amount grows, so does their ability to direct rewards. All voting is done over a 7 day voting window. After the period is complete, rewards are distributed to the wallets of all involved in the process. The author gets their rewards while each curator gets paid for the upvotes given. The calculation and distribution of the rewards are done by the network. This automates the transaction process. Leofinance can be thought of as a tokenized, permissionless Seeking Alpha.

What is LeoThreads

Now I am talking about my most favorite thing in LeoVerse. LeoThreads is a recent addition under the Leofinance umbrella. This is bringing microblogging to the Hive ecosystem. It is part of the Leofinance site although any application on Hive can incorporate it. The idea of LeoThreads is to develop Twitter on the Blockchain. By using a decentralized, immutable database with account ownership, one cannot have his or her data removed. This is not the case with Web 2.0 platforms such as Twitter.

What is Hivestats

A website that allows Hive users to monitor and track their activity on the blockchain. This also contains vital information pertaining to their account.

What is LeoDex

A decentralized finance (DeFi) exchange tied to Hive-Engine which is a sidechain of Hive. This allows for the swapping of Layer 2 tokens with each other on Hive Blockchain. You can control all layer 2 coins included in Hive blockchain through this website. You can do all trading and sticking by logging into your wallet.
