Introducing FREE A.R. Chem

This fully-narrated App allows you to interact with over 50 interesting molecules and reinforces molecular geometry principles by showing the molecule in 2-D and 3-D. Important/Interesting molecules are divided into nine different groups; “Chemical Weaponry”, “Controlled Substances”, “Various Organic Molecules”, “Medicines”, “Interesting Natural Products”, “Biological Molecules”, “Chemical Toxins”, “Explosives”, and “Carbon Compounds”. After a category is chosen, several molecules of interest are shown on two-dimensional whiteboards. When one of those molecules is selected it appears in three dimensions and interesting facts are narrated. In addition, one can interact with the molecule; e.g., change its size and orientation. This App will help make the connection between two- and three-dimensional depictions of molecules reinforcing molecular geometry principles as well as learning interesting facts for over 50 important/interesting molecules.
