Barn Owl | Oil Painting Time-lapse

Hi everyone! This is the painting process of a barn owl. I was reading a post from somebody that wrote about an encounter with an owl and saw then immediately this picture in my mind.⁠

First I only grasp the bigger picture, the colors and the object and then once I begin to paint, all the details get revealed one after another. I start with the first idea that comes to my mind and move on step by step with the next. ⁠

I don't know how to paint something when I paint it for the first time but I know my skills, I trust in my ability to figure things out and I listen to my inner wisdom. ⁠

This is what I love about the creative process. It unveils so many messages that apply not only to art but to life itself.⁠ 🌸
