Welcome To The Singing Voice Week 57

Last week, I watched the movie "Clouds" which was based on real life events and centred on the struggles faced by Zach Sobiech, a young American youngster who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma; a rare form of bone cancer, but found happiness, hope and delight in music.

In his most trying moments,the songwriter Zach Zodiac turned to music for solace and support that he wrote a number of songs that touched the hearts of many Americans.

After undergoing years of chemotherapy and cancer treatments, his prognosis was determined to be terminal. A few weeks later, he wrote a song titled Clouds and was signed to the record label "Rock the Cause."

Even though he was in a difficult situation, Zach managed to use his music to uplift and inspire others.

He later died in May 20th 2013, shortly after his 18th birthday.

His song clouds that was released in December 14, 2012 sold out completely and reached about 200 million views on YouTube.

I took away one lesson from this heartfelt film: we don't have to wait until we realise we're going to die to begin living.

Because tomorrow is not guaranteed, we must learn to live in the present and Appreciate,and Enjoy it.

We don't need to wait till later.
Start living, Start doing the things you love and start impacting lives

Although clouds is obviously about death and hope, I think it is a lovely and beautiful song.

I was so happy when I found out that it's a rock song and I immediately told my self I would perform it for my entry.

So, I decided to perform this song today and share this story because of one powerful message.

La semana pasada vi la película "Nubes", basada en hechos reales y centrada en la lucha de Zach Sobiech, un joven estadounidense al que diagnosticaron un osteosarcoma, una forma rara de cáncer de huesos, pero que encontró la felicidad, la esperanza y el placer en la música.

En sus momentos más difíciles, el compositor Zach Zodiac recurrió a la música en busca de consuelo y apoyo, y escribió varias canciones que llegaron al corazón de muchos estadounidenses.

Tras años de quimioterapia y tratamientos contra el cáncer, se determinó que su pronóstico era terminal. Pocas semanas después, escribió una canción titulada Clouds y fue fichado por el sello discográfico "Rock the Cause".

A pesar de encontrarse en una situación difícil, Zach consiguió utilizar su música para animar e inspirar a los demás.

Más tarde murió el 20 de mayo de 2013, poco después de cumplir 18 años.

Su canción clouds que fue lanzada el 14 de diciembre de 2012 se agotó por completo y alcanzó cerca de 200 millones de visitas en YouTube.

Me llevé una lección de esta sentida película: ***No tenemos que esperar a darnos cuenta de que vamos a morir para empezar a vivir.

Porque el mañana no está garantizado, debemos aprender a vivir el presente, apreciarlo y disfrutarlo.

No necesitamos esperar hasta más tarde.
Empieza a vivir, a hacer las cosas que te gustan y a influir en la vida de los demás.

Aunque Clouds trata obviamente de la muerte y la esperanza, creo que es una canción preciosa.

Me alegré mucho cuando me enteré de que era una canción de rock e inmediatamente me dije a mí misma que la interpretaría en mi presentación.

Así que decidí interpretarla hoy y compartir esta historia por su poderoso mensaje.
