Introduction
We were asked to do some musical jingles for the CTT podcast by @theycallmedan and @starkerz who gave us a long list of things they wanted. This was really good fun for us, however we soon realised we did not really understand what all the things really meant. So because of this we asked them if we could interview them about what some of the words mean so we could make some short educational videos to help other people explain what they are talking about.

Education

CTT are looking at different projects and trying to educate people about what the projects are! We have been educated about the crypto space just by spending some time with them and we would recommend that you do the same. They look at all sorts of projects and if you have any questions or have something you want them to look at you can always pop into their discord. This week we ask them about what is important about OWning your own content. Now this one is something we understand well as we have to agree ownership of all the songs we release and this is often agreed in quite a long and large contract. It is also somthing that burns us sometimes as we have songs that we have written that we now only only 12.5% of. yes they are still making us money which is good but it is hard when everyone else takes their share and you get something so small! We have also had people release our songs under different names on Amazon and also try and use our name on things without our permission. So owning content is definitely something that is close to our hearts.

It is interesting in the crypto world of Hive where everyone sees the monatisation of content when actually one of the key things that the CTT boys have taught us is about ownership. I mean in many ways the two things go hand in hand but on youtube for example they are the ones making the money and they can also just shut us down whenever they feel like! The idea of not only owning our content we put up is exciting but also the ideas of being censorship resistent. This is just another thing we have learned from the CTT boys!
