Hey guys! π
How are you all doing! π
Last time I had painted Fire wolf, and it was loved so much that I thought why not draw this cute, little colourful chirpily.
Here we will get through the process (in other words, rollercoaster π
) of this drawing.
These are the materials that I used in the process:
See I pasted my previous works on the wall. It looks cool, isn't it?
Firstly I divided the page, to see where would different parts occur roughly. That is to simplify the shape.
After that I sketched.
Then I outlined the figure.
Next I took start by painting upper light green wings.
What I usually do is that I first paint the base color, usually the one which is lightest in comparison. Then go on further from medium to darker tones and also increase its saturation.
This is what I did here!
After coating with colors, I left the wings to dry so when I make the other details, they don't get smug with them. This is commonly called as dry on dry technique.
Further I worked on it's different parts like beak, it's long tail, claws and central body.
Now for backgrounds what I mostly do is make them blurry and not so detailed. And I also go opposite for the colour i.e. if the foreground is light then background would be dark and vice versa. This contrastive scheme makes the details of work stand out. That's just how I think, it's not a rule.
Today I'm not gonna leave the Chirpily taped over the board. It would get displayed on my wall ("my wall of art", ah how nice it soundsπ€©π, isn't it?)
So this the end result.
In the end I would like to thank @acidyo for providing me the opportunity to make such fanarts, it's such fun to make these beautiful charactersπ¦.
Okay that's all for today.
Waiting for feedback!π
