Let's Crochet a Bookmark 📖 🔖

Today I'm gonna you guys through the process of making of this bookmark.
I have started to build and improve my reading habits. As i had mentioned earlier that I have started a liking for travelling and much more for doing stuff while travelling. On functional days of my university I almost spend 2 and half hours in travelling. And it's lots of time, which gets wasted mostly.
So since my 3rd semester, I decided to read duringthat time. It was quite tough at first. I started from reading 3 pages per day( it was non fictional, so it was lot at that time).
I'm telling all this just to make sure that I love yo read books, but I'm not a person who has been reading this for a long time. And I got to know that while reading we use anything but a bookmarker to mark the page 😂. I can't be blamed mich for I didn't had one till now.

Let's make our selves a bookmark 😉

Things to be Used

I used following materials in the process:

• Crochet
• Tapestry Needle
• Green yarn 💚
• White yarn 🤍
• Red yarn ❤️

Dive Into the Process

I started off with 60 chains.

Then turned the work and slip stitched into the chain.

After that started making the leaves.


Then started making the lower part of mushroom.

After that I made uper part.


For the white dots, I cut the white yarn into small pieces and then made 2 knots almost at the center.


Here are the parts ready to be assembled.

Before attaching lower and upper parts of mushrooms, I added the green vine.

Lower and upper parts were stitched together.

Then tada 🎉 here we have a bookmark being replaced by a question paper 😆.
