Saludos amigos de PUKUMUNDO. Es un gusto compartir con ustedes un pedacito de lo que hago.
Para quienes no me conocen, soy Antony Jimenez, músico Venezolano, Baterista y vocalista de Frecuencia Sublime. Esta es mi primera participación en esta comunidad que, vengo conociendo. Cuando leí sobre este concurso lo primero que pensé fue: "Wow que ingeniosos, me gustaría participar"

La canción que vengo a presentar en este momento, se llama ASTRONAUTA, es el primer sencillo de 12 temas que vengo trabajando desde Enero de este año (2022) en los estudios de SUR RECORDS, Caracas.

Hice esta versión en acústica especialmente para este concurso, con dos finalidades, promocionar el tema que es original y participar en este reto propuesto por el amigo @nahupuku.

En este video, me verán tocando una guitarra acústica, la batería, el bajo y cantando la canción. Es importante destacar que, el audio es totalmente ambiente (El que recoge la cámara) no existe pista, ni doblaje, ni efectos de sonido.

Para lograr esto, me grabé con mi teléfono REDMI 8A. Hice 20 tomas entre los instrumentos, las voces y los clips de errores o fallas en ejecución que nunca faltan (somos humanos). Reduje el tamaño de las tomas de los instrumentos a un 50% y las distribuí en la pantalla, dos superiores y dos inferiores. A las tomas de las voces, las reduje a un 25% de su tamaño y las coloque al centro de la pantalla, creando una composición que muestra a la banda en un formato acústico que, parece sacada del "multiverso".

En referencia al audio, como todas las tomas de voces e instrumentos eran individuales, me permitió tener todos los elementos de audio separados y controlar el sonido y mezcla de los mismos. Aunque no aplique efectos, si le baje el umbral de sonido a todos los videos para evitar saturación y se entendiera lo que trataba de hacer sonar. En verdad fue muy divertido hacer esta presentación, lo disfrute bastante y espero que sea de su agrado.

Greetings friends of PUKUMUNDO. It's a pleasure to share with you a little bit of what I do.
For those who don't know me, I'm Antony Jimenez, Venezuelan musician, drummer and vocalist of Frecuencia Sublime. This is my first participation in this community that I've been getting to know. When I read about this contest the first thing I thought was: "Wow how ingenious, I would like to participate".

The song that I come to present at this moment, is called ASTRONAUTA, is the first single of 12 songs that I've been working since January of this year (2022) in SUR RECORDS studios, Caracas.

I made this acoustic version especially for this contest, with two purposes, to promote the song which is original and to participate in this challenge proposed by my friend @nahupuku.

In this video, you will see me playing an acoustic guitar, drums, bass and singing the song. It is important to note that, the audio is totally ambient (The one picked up by the camera) there is no track, no dubbing, no sound effects.

To achieve this, I recorded myself with my REDMI 8A phone. I took 20 takes between the instruments, the vocals and the clips of errors or failures in execution that are never missing (we are human). I reduced the size of the instrument shots to 50% and distributed them on the screen, two upper and two lower. I reduced the vocal shots to 25% of their size and placed them in the center of the screen, creating a composition that shows the band in an acoustic format that seems to be taken from the "multiverse".

In reference to the audio, as all the takes of voices and instruments were individual, it allowed me to have all the audio elements separated and to control the sound and mix of them. Although I didn't apply effects, I did lower the sound threshold on all the videos to avoid saturation and to make it clear what I was trying to make sound. It was really fun to make this presentation, I enjoyed it a lot and I hope you like it.
