Hola querida comunidad de Hive, espero se encuentren muy bien. Estoy muy emocionada por traerles mi primera reseña del año a pesar de no ser la más alegre que digamos. Sin embargo he de decir que estoy muy emocionada por traerlo en formato de video y es que hace poco me leí “Mis Ganas Ganan: Nadie nos ha prometido un mañana vive el presente” de Elena Huelva.

Hello dear Hive community, I hope you are doing well. I am very excited to bring you my first review of the year even though it is not the most cheerful one. However, I must say that I am very excited to bring it in video format because I recently read "Mis Ganas Ganan: Nadie nos ha prometido un mañana vive el presente" by Elena Huelva.

Lamentablemente conocí esta historia y a esta influenciar por un triste motivo, su fallecimiento. Ella era una activista en la lucha contra el cáncer, era una joven de 20 años española que padecía el sarcoma de Ewing y desde su diagnóstico estuvo años en una constante lucha contra la enfermedad.

Unfortunately I met this story and this influencer for a sad reason, her death. She was an activist in the fight against cancer, she was a 20 year old Spanish girl who suffered from Ewing's sarcoma and since her diagnosis she spent years in a constant fight against the disease.

¿Qué puedo decir? Además de ser una perdida para su familiares también es un reflejo de la triste realidad que vive las personas con cáncer, además de escribir ella era una influencer tanto en instagram como en Tik Tok, cuando me entere de la noticia justo por la publicación de su muerte por parte de @somoslibrosinfinitos le heche un ojo a su historia y déjenme decirles que es la cosa más pura y triste que he leído respecto al cáncer, no puedo decir que es una autobiografía, es solo su experiencia contra una enfermedad, que mata que te daña te jode. Es como una chica desde sus 16 años comienza a contarnos como es su vida con el cáncer y como va sobrellevando tanto físicamente y mentalmente la enfermedad por que “Este libro va de eso de vivir, de VIVIR la vida, de no tener miedo, de disfrutar, de reír también de llorar, pero sobre todo, del verdadero significado que tiene la vida, lo único que tenemos asegurado: el presente”.

Besides being a loss for her family it is also a reflection of the sad reality that people with cancer live, besides writing she was an influencer both on instagram and Tik Tok, when I heard the news just by the publication of her death by @somoslibroslibrosinfinitos I took a look at her story and let me tell you that it is the purest and saddest thing I have read about cancer, I can not say it is an autobiography, it is just her experience against a disease, that kills that hurts you and fucks you. It is how a girl from the age of 16 begins to tell us about her life with cancer and how she is coping both physically and mentally with the disease because "This book is about living, about LIVING life, about not being afraid, about enjoying, about laughing and crying, but above all, about the true meaning of life, the only thing we are assured of: the present".

No es un libro plenamente informativo, es una experiencia real. Me gusto porque sentí que una amiga cercana me estaba constando su vida, por ello el libro se me pasó volando. Ella es tan sincera a la hora de hablar que incluso si no sabemos nada con referentes al cáncer ella nos explica. No se queda con nada siento que se desnudó en el libro, nos habla sobre sus miedos como cuando empezó a perder el pelo, cuando llego Nora a su vida, sus secciones de quimios muchas cosas que implican el cáncer y sobre todo el cáncer en una adolecente que si bien ella lo dice mucho “no eres ni un adulto ni un niño”, siento que cae muy bien porque además era muy detallada explicando incluso como era los doctores, habitaciones y en si el ámbito hospitalario.

It is not a fully informative book, it is a real experience. I liked it because I felt like a close friend was sharing her life with me, so the book flew by. She is so honest when she talks that even if we don't know anything about cancer, she explains it to us. She doesn't hold anything back, I feel like she stripped herself naked in the book, she tells us about her fears like when she started to lose her hair, when Nora came into her life, her chemo sections, many things that cancer implies and especially cancer in a teenager that even though she says it a lot "you are neither an adult nor a child", I feel it goes very well because she was also very detailed explaining even how the doctors, rooms and the hospital environment was like.

Siento que es una pena, me dolió el corazón porque SUS GANAS GANARON SIEMPRE se me arrugo mucho, cuando leía su optimismo a pesar de las bajadas y recaídas, de los efectos de las quimios de ABSOLUTAMENTE TODO me quedo con lo que dejo y es tal vez un mensaje de optimismo a las personas que están luchando contra distintos tipos de cáncer, a las personas que tal vez ven esta enfermedad como algo lejano que nos le puede pasar a ellos y sobre todo como muestra de heroísmo a la adversidad porque “Mis Ganas ganan, Ojala más personas tuvieran eso presente”, como libro le doy un 5 es súper corto además de que te deja el corazón en vilo, puedes saber que sigue de “su final abierto” en su feeds de Instagram, llore y en una que otra ocasión reí porque Elena molaba muchísimo como dicen los españoles, sin duda debe ser un ángel, gracias por leer.

I feel it is a pity, it hurt my heart because HIS WINS WON ALWAYS ruined me a lot, when I read his optimism despite the downs and relapses, the effects of chemo of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING I am left with what he left and it is perhaps a message of optimism to people who are fighting against different types of cancer, to people who perhaps see this disease as something far away that cannot happen to them and above all as a sign of heroism in the face of adversity because "Mis Ganas ganan, I wish more people had that in mind", as a book I give it a 5, it is super short and it leaves your heart in suspense, you can know what follows "its open ending" in her Instagram feed, I cried and once or another time I laughed because Elena was really cool as the Spanish say, no doubt she must be an angel, thank you for reading.
