Una semana más del Open Mic en la que estoy contenta de haber podido participar. Quiero contarte que he estado probando cosas nuevas como este teclado digital para Windows con el que he aprendido a tocar progresiones de acordes bien sencillas. Como también he estado trabajando en darle precisión a mi tesitura, he encontrado que hay notas que me resultan más cómodas para algunas cosas y otras notas para otras. En este mix de información no encontraba como hacer acordes sostenidos en el teclado digital para poder tocar lo que necesitaba, pero por suerte y después de mover algunas configuraciones pude entender que se puede transportar este teclado.
Estoy contenta de que con mi teclado de computadora pueda sacar unas cuantas notas con el sonido de un piano que tanto me gusta.
Estuve dispuesta esta semana de hacer otro espontaneo (improvisación) porque el de la semana pasada me ha animado mucho. No es nada difícil improvisar, un verso pero cuando se tata de más de 2 minutos intentando mantener la coherencia, es entonces cuando cualquier cosa puede suceder y arruinar todo.
También aproveche para añadir una técnica vocal que me cuesta demasiado, el falsete, y quise intenta hacer esta canción casi totalmente en falsete. Es algo que gasta demasiado aire e incluso ahora, escribiendo esto, después de haber revisado los detalles del video, puedo notar que tomo aire por la boca muy ruidosamente.
Todo esto lo escribo acá, incluso auto analizándome porque me interesa compartir todo, una interpretación en un poco más de profundidad.
El tema de Open Mic nos alentaba hablar de un buen amigo y quise hablar del mío y aunque quizá pocos me entiendan es una expresión calmada de mi alma que quise compartir.

One more week of the Open Mic in which I am happy to have been able to participate. I want to tell you that I have been trying new things like this digital keyboard for Windows with which I have learned to play very simple chord progressions. As I have also been working on precision in my range, I have found that there are notes that are more comfortable for me for some things and other notes for others. In this mix of information I couldn't find how to make sustained chords on the digital keyboard to be able to play what I needed, but luckily and after moving some settings I was able to understand that this keyboard can be transposed. I am happy that with my computer keyboard I can get a few notes with the sound of a piano that I like so much. I was willing this week to do another spontaneous one (improvisation) because the one from last week has encouraged me a lot. It's not difficult to improvise, a verse but when it takes more than 2 minutes trying to maintain coherence, that's when anything can happen and ruin everything. I also took the opportunity to add a vocal technique that is too difficult for me, falsetto, and I wanted to try to make this song almost entirely in falsetto. It's something that wastes too much air and even now, writing this, after reviewing the details of the video, I can notice that I'm breathing very noisily through my mouth. I write all this here, even analyzing myself because I am interested in sharing everything, an interpretation in a little more depth. The Open Mic theme encouraged us to talk about a good friend and I wanted to talk about mine and although perhaps few understand me, it is a calm expression of my soul that I wanted to share.
