What you should do before jumping rope // Complete warm-up (English/Spanish)

Friendly greetings dear Hivers, it gives me great pleasure to be back in the Full Deportes community sharing with you a little bit about my favorite workout which is Jump Rope. It is very common for athletes to jump rope before strength training, but in no way can jumping rope be considered a warm up, jumping rope is a high intensity workout so it is very necessary to warm up before doing it.

Before training I always perform a warm-up which I divide into three parts: Mobility, activation and stretching. The first, as its name suggests, consists of giving movement to the joints to increase the range of mobility. The second has to do with raising the body temperature and the third is to give some flexibility to some of the muscles involved in the exercise.

As you can see in the video, I warm up my feet, legs, waist, wrists, arms and back. All these parts of the body are involved when we jump rope and it is important to prepare them to avoid injury and to be able to perform the exercise optimally. I hope you like this video that I have made very excited, I say goodbye for now, stay tuned because I will continue to share more information about this beautiful training.
