    no importaba nada
    ibas a encontrarte con él
con él, con él, con él, con él.

    Son cinco minutos
    La vida es eterna
    En cinco minutos
    Suena la sirena
    De vuelta al trabajo
Y tu caminando lo iluminas todo
    Los cinco minutos
    Te hacen florecer

    Te recuerdo Amanda
    La calle mojada
    Corriendo a la fábrica
    Donde trabajaba Manuel

    La sonrisa ancha
    La lluvia en el pelo
    No importaba nada
    Ibas a encontrarte con él
Con él, con él, con él, con él

    Que partió a la sierra
    Que nunca hizo daño
    Que partió a la sierra
    Y en cinco minutos
    Quedó destrozado

    Suenan las sirenas
    De vuelta al trabajo
    Muchos no volvieron
    Tampoco Manuel

    Te recuerdo Amanda
    La calle mojada
    Corriendo a la fábrica
    Donde trabajaba Manuel

    English Version

Memories are part of who we are, memories, those special moments of our life. Undoubtedly, we are to a great extent what we have lived, and what we dream... We rarely stop to enjoy the now.

Every human being rethinks every day his life based on what he remembers of his existence, his experiences are determining the following decisions, so, we do not exist without our memories.

In my particular case, being an adult with diagnosed ADD, I have problems with my immediate or short term memory, but I am able to remember practically all the events of my life in detail, it is only a matter of looking for them in my memory to relive them. I can remember all the faces I have seen, but not the names, I can remember thousands of song lyrics, but sometimes I forget my ID number. Memory is a mystery, but it is there to give meaning to life, imagine a life where you go every day forgetting what you have lived, it would be a bit tris it would be a bit sad.

Based on the theme of the week I decided to sing a song by Victor Jara, this song is an Ode to love, to the instant, to life and memories. I hope you like it.

    I REMEMBER YOU AMANDA

    Author: Víctor Jara

    Lyrics

    I remember you Amanda
    the wet street
running to the factory where Manuel worked.

The wide smile, the rain in your hair
    it didn't matter
you were going to meet him
with him, with him, with him, with him, with him.

    It's five minutes
    Life is eternal
    In five minutes
    The siren sounds
    Back to work
And you walk and light it all up
    The five minutes
    Make you bloom

    I remember you Amanda
    The wet street
    Running to the factory
    Where Manuel worked

    The wide smile
    The rain in my hair
    Nothing mattered
You were going to meet him
With him, with him, with him, with him, with him

    Who went to the mountains
    Who never did any harm
Who went off into the mountains
    And in five minutes
    He was shattered

    The sirens are wailing
    Back to work
    Many did not return
    Neither did Manuel

    I remember you Amanda
    The wet street
    Running to the factory
    Where Manuel worked
