luego de aquella entrega irresistible
Parecía una flor inmarcesible
el dulzor de tus labios en mi boca
y tus contactos tiernos, tan afables
tornáronse caricias inflamables
de esas, las que el olvido nunca toca
que te ha convertido en un pronombre
casi tácito, casi indefinido
por más que empeño todos mis sentidos
no logro recordar ya ni tu nombre
after that irresistible surrender
It seemed like an unfading flower
the sweetness of your lips in my mouth
and your tender touches, so affable
became flammable caresses
of those that oblivion never touches.
that has turned you into a pronoun
almost tacit, almost indefinite
no matter how hard I try all my senses
I can't even remember your name
Hoy tengo el placer de presentarles el segundo soneto, al estilo clásico español, de esta nueva serie que he empezado, para tocar los temas del amor, mientras me permito seguir explorando las bellezas y maravillas que nos ofrece la poesía clásica rimada y continuar buscar desarrollar cada día más esa sensibilidad y habilidad en esta forma de escritura, tan maravillosa.
Today I have the pleasure of presenting the second sonnet, in the classic Spanish style, of this new series I have started, to touch on the themes of love, while allowing myself to continue exploring the beauties and wonders that classical rhymed poetry offers us and to continue seeking to develop more and more every day that sensitivity and skill in such a wonderful form of writing.
