This song is an old hymn, a prayer written by the renowned hymn writer, Charles Wesley for little children who desire to be humble and gentle like Jesus, Who is our perfect example of humility and modesty.
I remember how I loved this song as a little kid back then. It reminded me of how meek and gentle Jesus is and how I should emulate Him.
Thank God as God's children, He gave us His nature therefore, we are like Him and can walk in His steps. Humility is one of the characters of the recreated hunan spirit, it's wired in us and so, we can manifest it in our lives.

Although it has 7 stanzas and 5 more were added by Martin F. Shaw to it, I picked out 4 of them that I like best for my presentation here. I hope you enjoy my Acapella version of it.

Recuerdo cómo me encantaba esta canción cuando era niño en ese entonces. .me recordó cuán manso y gentil es Jesús y cómo debo emularlo.
Gracias a Dios como hijos de Dios, Él nos dio Su naturaleza, por lo tanto, somos como Él y podemos caminar en Sus pasos. .la humildad es una de las caracteristicas del espiritu humano recreado, esta cableada en nosotros y asi podemos manifestarla en nuestra vida.
