Parrilla y Familia... Los 70 de mi Papá. Este mes de septiembre ha sido muy movido en cuanto a cumpleaños. Hace dos fines de semanas atrás celebramos la vida de mi hija Nancy, luego el fin de semana pasado fueron los 68 años de mi madre, y ahora, así como sucedió con mi mamá, luego de dos años de ausencia de esta casa, pudimos celebrar los 70 de mi papá @omarrojas. De verdad que sería un honor muy grande llegar a esa edad y mucho más.

Fue un día muy especial y lleno de emoción porque desde bien temprano cumplimos todo lo que nos pidió, y como hicimos con mamá, también a papá lo consentimos. Él pidió una torta igual a las anteriores, una torta fría de galletas con pudín, pero algo diferente debía tener este día, claro está que no habría pasticho, ya estaba bueno de eso. Y como a nosotros nos gusta realizar las celebraciones con mucha comida y tortas, como dije, fue complacido como él quiso.

Grill and Family... My Dad's 70th. This September has been a very busy month in terms of birthdays. Two weekends ago we celebrated my daughter Nancy's life, then last weekend it was my mother's 68th birthday, and now, just as it happened with my mom, after two years of absence from this house, we were able to celebrate my dad @omarrojas' 70th. It would truly be a great honor to reach that age and much more.

It was a very special day full of emotion because from very early in the morning we fulfilled everything he asked for, and as we did with mom, we also spoiled dad. He asked for a cake just like the previous ones, a cold cookie cake with pudding, but something different had to have this day, of course there would be no pasticho, he had enough of that. And as we like to celebrate with lots of food and cakes, as I said, he was pleased as he wanted.

Por supuesto que no hubo pasticho porque la solicitud fue una parrilla y así lo hicimos. Una parrilla con muchos ingredientes, además de su respectiva ensalada y la correspondiente salsa picante. Para ello, el mismo día me dediqué a la compra de todos los materiales para realizar el asado, que por cierto a mi también me gusta demás. Por otra parte, la torta sería fría de galleta, pero esta vez no tendría chocolate sino pudín de coco y vainilla. Así como a mi mamá, esa fue una sorpresa de parte de mi esposa e hijos que sería preparada el día anterior. La crema de berenjena y la salsa picante también la hicieron ellos.

Bueno, decirles lo que van a encontrar en este #video sería un pecado, pero solo les puedo decir que lo van a disfrutar mucho, porque además de la celebración se van a reir con un par de anécdotas contadas por el propio protagonista, que hasta para encender el carbón quiso intervenir. También papá tuvo la dicha de recibir una video llamada de mi hermano que vive en Argentina, pero esa llamada fue poco común porque él estaba en su trabajo, muy lejos de su casa en Buenos Aires, por lo que hubo como una especie de triangulación entre mi papá, mi hermano y su esposa e hija que si estaban en casa.

Fue una sorpresa porque su nieta le había preparado una torta y le cantó cumpleaños en esa videollamada, fue un momento muy emotivo. Mi papá es todo un personaje, ustedes lo conocen y sé muy bien que se van a divertir mucho en este material audiovisual. No me queda más que darles un fuerte abrazo, desearles lo mejor del mundo y que sus padres aún los tengan en este plano terrenal, a los que no, que ellos los bendigan desde donde quieran que estén. Dad also had the joy of receiving a video call from my brother who lives in Argentina, but that call was unusual because he was at work, far away from his home in Buenos Aires, so there was a kind of triangulation between my dad, my brother and his wife and daughter who were at home.

It was a surprise because his granddaughter had prepared a cake for him and sang birthday to him in that video call, it was a very emotional moment. My dad is quite a character, you know him and I know very well that you are going to have a lot of fun with this audiovisual material.
