A look from above at the river

Today I want to invite you to watch a video shot using a drone. This is the beginning of the Minusinsk channel of the Yenisei River. Once upon a time there was a natural channel where water from the Yenisei entered under great pressure. During spring floods, water here flooded the entire area.
In the 70s of the last century, a protective dam was made along the bank of the Yenisei, and water began to flow into the channel through a sluice. The coastal lands no longer suffered from spring floods, but the channel turned into a large stagnant pond.
This led to the fact that the previously navigable channel in the lower reaches of the channel became silted and covered with sandy sediments. My previous video here was about the current state of the channel in the lower reaches.
