The theme of this week’s photo contest in the Feathered Friends community @nelinoeva announced “Together.”
In my opinion, photographs of swans fit this theme very well. Swans are sociable birds, often swimming in pairs or whole flocks.
Last spring, on a warm May evening, my daughter and I stood on the shore of Lake Naroch, enjoying the peace and quiet of this wonderful place, and two snow-white swans swam up to us. For some time we looked at the birds, and the birds looked at us.
In my opinion, swans are one of the most photogenic birds. Large and graceful, swans are not afraid of humans, but pose for the photographer with great dignity.
That evening, the birds gave us plenty to admire them, take a few photos and shoot a short video.
Lake Naroch has a lot of corners where you can relax from the bustle of big cities; here time flows slowly. Watching the life of the feathered inhabitants of the lake, you begin to feel like you are also part of the surrounding nature. Admiring the sunrises, along with the rest of the lake, you experience primitive delight, seeing how the Sun emerges from the lake and rises into the sky.
Ecency has made it possible to embed videos into posts, so now our photos can be “livened up” a little.
I suggest watching a short video of a pair of swans swimming along the shore of Lake Naroch on a quiet May evening.
