Hombros al Amanecer: Una Odisea [ESP|ENG]

Hoy durante las primeras luces del día, cuando el sol apenas asomaba tras los árboles del Parque Vereda del Lago, mi amigo @Edixovm y yo nos encontramos. La rutina matutina se ha convertido en un medio para fortalecer nuestro vínculo de amistad, ya que por razones de tiempo se nos hace difícil compartir. La vida nos ha llevado por caminos distintos últimamente, y nuestros encuentros son menos frecuentes. Así que decidimos aprovechar las mañanas para entrenar juntos, como en los viejos tiempos. Viejos tiempos = tres semanas atrás. 😐

Hoy, mis hombros fueron los protagonistas. El grupo muscular rezagado que parece resistirse a evolucionar. Casi podría decir que es mi némesis en la calistenia. Pero no me rindo. Hago lo que está a mi alcance.

Y luego está la parada de manos. Que me hace sentir como un principiante torpe, que en parte sí lo soy. A veces, cuando creo que finalmente la he dominado, basta con dejar de practicarla durante una semana para que mi equilibrio se tambalee y pierda el control que pensé que ya tenía.

Me alegra ver a Edixo. No importa cuánto tiempo pase entre que nos vemos; cuando nos reunimos, es como si no hubiera pasado un día. Nos motivamos, nos retamos y nos apoyamos mutuamente en esta búsqueda de superación. En Fortis, la amistad y el entrenamiento en equipo son los cimientos sobre los cuales construimos nuestra fuerza física y emocional. 🦉

Esta fue mi mañana. Por cierto había una señora toda loca que pone música toda estrambótica así que por eso ahora estoy poniendo en mis videos estas obras musicales más calmadas, compleja, y acordes con el aire de la mañana. No sé qué le pasa a esa señora… En fin, espero que les guste.

Today during the first light of day, when the sun was just peeking out from behind the trees of Vereda del Lago Park, my friend @Edixovm and I met. The morning routine has become a means to strengthen our bond of friendship, as time constraints make it difficult for us to share. Life has taken us on different paths lately, and our meetings are less frequent. So we decided to take advantage of the mornings to train together, just like in the old days. Old times = three weeks ago. 😐

Today, my shoulders were the protagonists. The lagging muscle group that seems to resist evolving. I could almost say it's my calisthenics nemesis. But I don't give up. I do what's in my power.

And then there's the handstand. Which makes me feel like a clumsy beginner, which in part I am. Sometimes, when I think I've finally mastered it, all it takes is to stop practicing it for a week for my balance to wobble and I lose the control I thought I already had.

I'm glad to see Edixo. It doesn't matter how much time passes between seeing each other; when we get together, it's like a day hasn't passed. We motivate each other, challenge each other and support each other in this quest to excel. At Fortis, friendship and team training are the foundation on which we build our physical and emotional strength. 🦉

This was my morning. By the way there was a lady all crazy who plays music all outlandish so that's why I'm now putting in my videos these calmer, complex, and more chordal musical works with the morning air. I don't know what's wrong with that lady... Anyway, I hope you like it.
