I welcome you all to another episode of Creative Sunday, I wish us all a prosperous week.
today I am making chicken curry sauce and below are the ingredients used for my sauce.
INGREDIENTS
Chicken breast
Cabbage
Carrot
Green peas.
Yellow pepper
Red bell pepper
Corn flour
Vegetable oil
seasoning cubes
Step 1
I wash my chicken with water drained the water and marinated it for twenty minutes, marinated mean adding seasoning cubes, salt, and onions, mixing with your hand and cover it for twenty minutes
Step 2
Wash all the veggies and cut them into pieces then set them aside.
Step 3
In your pot add a little vegetable oil allow to hot for a while then put your marinated chicken one by one, the chicken is not meant to fry but to have a brownish color.
Step 4
After gotten your desired color for the chicken then add water in to the pot then your onions and curry stir thoroughly before adding your seasoning cubes, for me i added one seasoning cune into it, cover it to cook for five minutes.
STEP 5
After five minutes of cooking then add your cabbage into the sauce, add your diced pepper and carrot even your spring can go with it, stir together and cover for two minutes to cook together because you will not like your sauce to be too hot in terms of too much pepper, after that cover it and leave it to cook.
Step 6
Take one and a half tablespoons of your cornflour, mix with little water, then pour in your sauce, the work of the cornflour is to thicken the sauce, it serves as a binder in the sauce, it does not make it watery so pour it in your sauce and mix them thoroughly as I mixed in the video, your sauce is ready to serve, and you can pair it with rice, yam even plantain, it is another means of taking break from rice and stew, this is also a good combo that you will also love to try.
