La felicidad está conformada por pequeños momentos que se van tejiendo a lo largo de nuestra vida, con el pasar del tiempo este telar de felicidad puede ir creciendo, si así lo decidimos, si aprendemos a encontrar felicidad en todo aquello que nos rodea. Es fácil encontrar la felicidad si sabemos mirar con ojos nuevos cada día y de nosotros depende retenerla, abrazarla, atesorarla para que en los momentos en que no nos sintamos tan felices podamos volver a mirar este tejido conformado por los buenos momentos de nuestra vida y así sentir el alivio y las ganas de seguir adelante.

El canto me hace inmensamente feliz y es tanto así que aunque este cantando canciones triste. como en este caso Amor Enguayabao de Simón Díaz que habla de la pesadez que produce no sentirse lo suficientemente amado, me siento feliz de cantar, puedo sentir un cálido sentimiento cuando canto. Y esa felicidad es aún más vívida cuando canto música venezolana pues me siento muy orgullosa de la herencia musical de mi país.

Esta canción aunque tiene un tono de amarga tristeza me hace feliz al cantarla, en el canto yo encuentro la felicidad en la tristeza. ¡Suena totalmente raro pero así es! Cuando estoy cantando puedo llenarme de la tristeza de la canción para interpretarla desde esa conexión profunda y mientras avanzo caigo en una suerte de vacío que va sacando la energía triste y renovandola con buena energía.

Yo lanzo melodías al viento solo para verlas volar, las imagino vivas recorriendo los espacios, se van, lejos tan lejos donde ya mis ojos no alcanzan a ver. Segundos o minutos sonoros donde siento que me elevo y viajo a lugares donde mi cuerpo físico no llega. He tenido la dicha de sentir los aplausos, de escuchar los vitores que ganan el vuelo de mis melodías. Y es tanta la felicidad que siento en esos momentos que no puedo más que agradecer a Dios por su bendita misericordia, por ser tan amable al permitirme cantar.

La vida no es color de rosa, eso lo sabemos, pero aún así vivimos momentos en los cuales es tan estupenda que los compases amargos se hacen más ligeros. Te invito a abrazar aquello que te hace feliz y encontrar felicidad en las pequeñas y cotidianas cosas de la vida. Siente la brisa en tu rostro, escucha el canto de un ave, come algo rico, abraza con cariño, rié a carcajadas, baila aunque tengas dos pies izquierdos, mírate al espejo y di: ¡Que bien me veo!.

Happiness is made up of small moments that are woven throughout our lives, with the passing of time this loom of happiness can grow if we so decide, if we learn to find happiness in everything that surrounds us. It is easy to find happiness if we know how to look at it with new eyes every day and it is up to us to hold it, embrace it, treasure it so that in the moments when we do not feel so happy we can look again at this fabric made up of the good moments of our life and thus feel the relief and the desire to move forward.

Singing makes me immensely happy and so much so that even if I am singing sad songs, like in this case Amor Enguayabao by Simón Díaz that talks about the heaviness of not feeling loved enough, I feel happy to sing, I can feel a warm feeling when I sing. And that happiness is even more vivid when I sing Venezuelan music because I feel very proud of my country's musical heritage.

This song although it has a tone of bitter sadness makes me happy when I sing it, in singing I find happiness in sadness, it sounds totally weird but it is! When I am singing I can fill myself with the sadness of the song to interpret it from that deep connection and as I move forward I fall into a kind of emptiness that is taking out the sad energy and renewing it with good energy.

I sing melodies to see them fly, I imagine them alive, traveling through the spaces, they leave, far away, so far away from where my eyes can no longer see. I have had the joy of feeling the applause, of listening to the cheers that win the flight of my melodies. And the happiness I feel in those moments is so great that I can only thank God for his blessed mercy, for being so kind as to allow me to sing.

Life is not always rosy, we know that, but we still live moments in which it is so great that the bitter measures become lighter. I invite you to embrace what makes you happy and find happiness in the small, everyday things in life. Feel the breeze on your face, listen to the song of a bird, eat something delicious, hug with affection, laugh out loud, dance even if you have two left feet, look at yourself in the mirror and say: "I look so good!"
