Christmas gifts

Hola, Hola, queridos amigos de Motherhood, qué hermoso es poder compartir con ustedes estos momentos tan importantes en la infancia de mi hijo y en nuestra vida de padres. Este es nuestro tercer año haciendo el trabajo de Santa Claus y vaya, es una gran responsabilidad, pero es tan gratificante ver la ilusión con que los niños esperan este día y la emoción al recibir los regalos. Tanto, que aún hablan de eso y no quería dejar de compartirlo.

Ahora que mi hijo tiene 04 años, disfrutó más la Navidad e incluso recordó cosas que realizamos el año pasado, como cuando fuimos a un centro comercial y le entregamos en persona la carta a Santa. Este año no logramos hacer eso y él se sentía un poco preocupado, así que para no perder la costumbre, el 24 por la tarde lo llevamos a un pequeño paseo por el centro comercial y dejamos que él depositara la carta en un pequeño buzón.

También disfruto de esta bella casa de jengibre, que nos encantó.

Hello, Hello, dear friends of Motherhood, how beautiful it is to be able to share with you these important moments in my son's childhood and in our life as parents. This is our third year doing the job of Santa Claus and wow, it is a big responsibility, but it is so rewarding to see the illusion with which the children wait for this day and the excitement when they receive the gifts. So much so, that they still talk about it and I didn't want to stop sharing it.

Now that my son is 04, he enjoyed Christmas more and even remembered things we did last year, like when we went to a mall and delivered the letter to Santa in person. This year we didn't manage to do that and he was a little worried, so not to lose the habit, on the 24th in the afternoon we took him on a little walk around the mall and let him drop the letter in a small mailbox.

He also enjoyed this beautiful gingerbread house, which we loved.

De regreso a casa compramos galletas y él le dejó unas a Santa, porque qué pena, si llegaba y no lo teníamos nada preparado, las colocó en el pesebre y deseaba ansioso que el momento llegara. Mientras preparaba la cena, recibimos la visita de mi hermano, Angel se emociona mucho cuando su tío lo visita, tiene una conexión muy especial con él y, como ellos no podían quedarse, disfrutó de una mini cena junto a sus tíos.

On the way home we bought cookies and he left some for Santa, because what a pity, if he arrived and we had nothing prepared, he placed them in the manger and was anxiously waiting for the moment to arrive. While preparing dinner, we received a visit from my brother, Angel gets very excited when his uncle visits him, he has a very special connection with him and since they couldn't stay, he enjoyed a mini dinner together with his uncles.

Después de esa grata visita, cenamos junto al resto de la familia y cuando se acercaba la hora más esperada por los niños, mi esposo se lo llevo de paseo por la urbanización, generalmente a esa hora pasa una caravana con Santa Claus, después de verla y recibir caramelos, volvieron a casa y encontraron sus regalos. Angel fue directo por la pelota, sabía que era de él, porque fue lo primero que pidió. Angel y su primo Darían no podían creer todo lo que recibieron, especialmente la espada que tanto estuvieron esperando.

After that pleasant visit, we had dinner with the rest of the family and when the most awaited time for the children was approaching, my husband took him for a walk around the urbanization, usually at that time a caravan with Santa Claus passes by, after seeing it and receiving candies, they returned home and found their gifts. Angel went straight for the ball, he knew it was his, because it was the first thing he asked for. Angel and his cousin Darían could not believe everything they received, especially the sword they had been waiting for so long.

Este año, tuvimos gastos muy fuertes con el tratamiento que mi hijo está recibiendo para la salud de sus ojos, sin embargo, estamos muy agradecidos, porque entre ambos logramos regalarle una noche muy especial a nuestro hijo y ese es el mejor regalo que como padres podemos tener.

Espero que este año que está iniciando sea de bendiciones para cada uno de ustedes, que disfruten al máximo de la maternidad y/o la paternidad y que cada niño reciba todo el amor necesario para que crezca muy feliz.

This year, we had very heavy expenses with the treatment that my son is receiving for the health of his eyes, however, we are very grateful, because between the two of us we managed to give our son a very special night and that is the best gift that as parents we can have.

I hope that this year that is beginning will be a year of blessings for each of you, that you enjoy motherhood and/or fatherhood to the fullest and that each child receives all the love necessary for him/her to grow up very happy.
