I was a driver for Uber and other apps for the year 2019 and I mention that in the video, it is a different experience but that is the reality for many people during a good season of their lives, I was doing it part time to complement my second part time job in college as a monitor, at the same time that I finished studying my professional career.

Hay aplicaciones que han llegado a nuestras vidas para no volver a irse, Uber es un modelo de negocio que ciertamente ha creado la oportunidad de generar ingresos para personas que saben conducir un auto, al mismo tiempo para personas que poseen un auto y que lo quieren poner a trabajar en alguna aplicación con un conductor particular, Uber ha llegado para quedarse, resta que algunas cuestiones políticas sean solucionadas para que se pueda decir que son 100% legales.

Yo fui conductor de Uber y otras aplicaciones para el año 2019 y eso lo menciono en el video, es una experiencia diferente pero que es la realidad para muchas personas durante una buena temporada de sus vidas, yo lo hacia medio tiempo para complementar mi segundo empleo de medio tiempo en la universidad como monitor, al mismo tiempo que terminaba de estudiar mi carrera profesional.

Es muy complicado hacer legal un servicio cuando hay conflicto de intereses por parte de personas poderosas que en este caso hacen parte del gremio de los taxis, por obvias razones son los competidores directos que desean que la nueva tecnología no pueda ser implementada, ya que pierden clientes.
Como usuario y como opinión personal yo prefiero tomar un servicio privado en donde puedo observar el precio por adelantado y en donde se puede ver información relevante del conductor, como la placa del carro, nombre completo, calificaciones anteriores, cantidad de viajes exitosos. Es algo que la tecnología ha aportado y que le da confianza a los usuarios.

Finalmente creo que si es necesario que el sistema de transporte y las reglamentaciones sean modificadas, porque la tecnología permite avanzar en la forma de hacer las cosas, no es posible que se pueda ignorar el avance y que se quiera impedir de maneras dudosas porque no les conviene a unos pocos millonarios dueños de numerosos vehículos de transporte publico. Dichos cambios deben incluir un seguro obligatorio para los vehículos privados que quieran ejercer, y que sea obligatorio y exigido por la plataforma, para asi llevar el control, porque de otra manera, los conductores harían hasta lo imposible para no pagarlo, por otro lado, Uber debería exigir más claridad en la normativa porque para pagar millones en impuestos si están legalmente constituidos, pero para ofrecer el servicio desde donde pagan esos impuestos entonces ya no son tan legales, es un chiste.
