Saludos amigos de Hive y de la comunidad Sound Music, espero todos estén teniendo un bonito día.

Ya tenia un tiempo desaparecido de la plataforma y más del contenido musical a causa de mis estudios universitarios de música los cuales no me han dejado mucho tiempo que digamos para dedicar a la creación de contenido.

El día de hoy quiero compartirles mi interpretación de Cuatro Solista del merengue venezolano La Sapoara de Francisco Carreño en la tonalidad de D Mayor. Esta es una canción que tenia mucho tiempo sin tocar ni practicar siquiera, hoy aprovechando que tuve un día libre lo aproveche para practicar varias canciones que tenia un poco olvidadas y entre esas, esta la canción que traigo el día de hoy.

Tocar esta canción ya sea como acompañante o como solista, me trae un poco de nostalgia ya que me hace acordar aquella época cuando apenas estaba aprendiendo a ejecutar el Cuatro Venezolano, pues es una canción básica para el aprendizaje del Cuatro (como acompañante claro está) por su armonía sencilla.

I had a while missing from the platform and more music content because of my university studies in music which have not left me much time to say to devote to the creation of content.

Today I want to share with you my interpretation of Cuatro Solista of the Venezuelan merengue La Sapoara by Francisco Carreño in the key of D Major. This is a song that I had a long time without playing or even practicing, today I had a day off and I took advantage of it to practice several songs that I had a little forgotten and among those, this is the song that I bring today.

Playing this song either as an accompanist or as a soloist, brings me a little nostalgia because it reminds me of that time when I was just learning to play the Venezuelan Cuatro, because it is a basic song for learning the Cuatro (as an accompanist of course) for its simple harmony.

¿Qué es la Sapoara? / What is the Sapoara?

La Sapoara es una especie de pez exclusiva del rio Orinoco (Venezuela) que solo se encuentra en el tramo entre Caicara y Ciudad Bolívar y en menor grado en Ciudad Guayana siendo una especie exclusiva del estado Bolívar, y cuenta la leyenda que “aquel que coma la cabeza de este pescado, quedara atrapado en los encantos de Bolívar y se casara con una hermosa mujer guayanesa”.

The Sapoara is a species of fish exclusive to the Orinoco River (Venezuela) that is only found in the stretch between Caicara and Ciudad Bolívar and to a lesser degree in Ciudad Guayana being a species exclusive to State Bolívar, and the legend says that "he who eats the head of this fish, will be trapped in the charms of Bolívar and will marry a beautiful woman from Guayana".
